What can you not like about a property that floats above the Kazinga Channel that joins Lake George and Lake Edward, and that is situated in the heart Of Uganda's Queen Elizabeth National Park. The reception rooms, dining deck, dining room and pool are all most elegant and the views breathtaking. The gift shop stocks some pretty fabulous Africana and...

What an incredible view! Perched on the peninsula with pleasant meeting capabilities. The evening Kazinga boat cruise was super...the banks of the channel teaming with wild-life. Pity our itinerary was so packed: must re-visit!

We stayed here for one night for the channel cruise. To be honest, I really wanted to hate this place because it is a hotel. However, the food was very good and the rooms were decent, though dated. The beds were comfortable and the a/c was nice. The views overlooking the channel were nice and we had birds and a...

We loved staying 2 nights at this British/African colonial style club/lodge that was built in the 30s or 40s - and wish we could have stayed longer. The lodge with its dining, pool area and bed room wings are all well sited to look down to the kazinga channel and to the large numbers of hippos, water buffalos, bushbacks, birds...

Fantastic location with fantastic views over the Kazinga channel. Food and service Ok. It's '' obliged '' to make the boat trip where you can see not only some of the big 5 but also an fantastic variety of birds.

I was travelling with two other males doing the chimp and gorilla trekking experience. This lodge was to be a resting point before moving on. We spent two nights here. The room was very pleasant and clean. The food was really good and the views over the lake were to die for. Laundry service was quick and good value. I...

3 of us (all male) spent just over a week in Uganda travelling. We stayed in 7 different lodges & this was the best. Fantastic setting & well established, with a must-do boat trip very close down the Channel. Food was very good here & all services worked/present. We had rooms with a dull view but no issue whatsoever -...

With a stunning location boasting views over the Kazinga channel below and right in the National Park makes this a wonderful place to stay when out on safari. The food is lovely and the menu fairly extensive with local and foreign dishes in good measure and lunch is served out on the terrace overlooking bathing buffalo and elephants. It is...

The distance is worth the experience. This place is absolutely magnificent. A relief from the hassles and bustles in town. You feel each and every moment while at this place, beautiful scenic view of Lake Albert, the sound of birds as you have your early morning breakfast, watching elephants, crocodiles and buffaloes bonding on the other side of the lake...
