Beautiful hike through the gorge and lots of waterfalls. The trails are very well maintained though there are lots of stairs (which will make it difficult for stroller or wheelchairs). Make sure you remember your camera and take lots of pictures.

It was a hike all up!!!! 800 steps!!! Please bring cold water and wear good threaded shoes-no flip flops because it is slippery in spots. Beautiful views!!!! A must do and plan on about 2 hours to hike this trail.

It was a beautiful hike up a lot of stone stair cases. The pathway over looks a gorge with waterfalls, shaded by nature We paid $8 to park on September 8 2016. The attendant told us the state will be renovating the park with a new entryway and visitor center. Currently it has a small gift shop and restrooms at...

We went there Sunday of the Labor day weekend, and we had to park to the adjacent parking lot because of the volume of cars already parked inside the state park; parking fee applies. We got there like 10:30 am. Our friends told us that there is shuttle in the parking lot that would take us to the top and...

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through Watkins Glen State Park. Not being youngsters, we opted to pay the $5 each to ride the Shuttle Bus up to the top of the Gorge Trail. It was well worth it. Our driver was entertaining during the brief ride. There are restrooms there. Good idea to visit them before you begin your descent....

Just returned from an enjoyable trek through lovely forested parkland. We took the 800 steps to the base of the gorge and enjoyed the waterfalls and steep walls surrounding the hiking path. Bring your camera as it is amazing! The whole experience out and back hike took about an hour but there are several other trails if you want a...

First off, possibly the most beautiful place in New York State, other than Niagara Falls. You can't believe that such natural splendor is so close to the main road, but it is! Parking is simple, located on either end of the gorge (upper or lower) if you go during the week. Weekends will be tougher. The park is comprised of...

This park was clean. Not handicap friendly. the walk along the gorge on a hot day was almost killer - I'm overweight and older. No bathrooms along the way or a place to sit and have a snack. the climb down was easier then going up. I would recommend the shuttle for people in my category. No Hotel state park.

Amazing camping trip with the family. All sites have a grill and picnic table, which was just enough for us (family of 4). We were close to the restroom and water spot, and not too far from the trash bins. The nights were comfortable, cool and breezy. Would definitely recommend it.

I can not believe that I have lived in PA all of my life and have never known about this absolute GEM of a park, only 3 1/2 hours away! I have been to the park twice in the last month and can't wait for my next trip there. The main even for me was the gorge trail. There are...
