When you get there after dark, it's a bit difficult to find. But the locals are so very friendly - all it took was 1 question and I got escorted to the front door of the hotel. It's a great place to explore the island. You definitely need your own wheels though.
Rooms (fully equipped with a kitchen) are big, bathroom is comfortable and you can park your car inside the fence at night.
Breakfast is enough to get you through the biggest part of the day.
I'd surely stay here again when I return.

This hotel is in the lower price range and thus needs to be reviewed taken that into account. It's not very easy to find this price range on Aruba which still has an ok location. Rooms are spacious but very basic. Breakfast ok and the pool was nice and refreshing. A car is not actually necessary. it's about a 20 minutes walk to the beach.

There are much fancier resorts to stay in Aruba but you will pay for them. This places is more reasonable and appears people come to stay awhile with the little efficiency items here-microwave, toaster, refrig and kitchen plates, pans etc. it is not fancy…beds kind of hard, towels thin snd bathrooms small but A/C works, breakfast is good, pool well maintained; staff helpful! We have met several older, single women who come yearly!

We just got back from Aruba we stayed at coconut inn. Originally we were scheduled to stay at an Airbnb when we arrived we went to our rental and the host refused to honor our reservation because Airbnb has not paid him. My family and I had to scramble to find a place, last year we stayed at the coconut inn so I gave them a call and explained our situation, she said they had rooms and we could stay there. What a relief to find a place at the last minute. As far as the place is concerned it is clean they come into your room every day and make up the beds and give you fresh towels . Breakfast is included in the price and the pool is spotless. I will definitely book with them next year. I will not do business with Airbnb again they are having financial problems and aren’t paying their host .I called my credit card company and they are investigating the problem . Thank you to the host at coconut inn she was very friendly and easy to do business with.

Centrally located between Eagle Beach & Arashi Beach w/ a 5 min drive to high rise area restaurants, bars, sportsbars, shopping mall & hotels w/ casinos, Coconut Inn is an older 40 unit 1br/ studio complex w/ a clean pool, poolside shade, bbq grill, breakfast hall & plenty of of parking on site.
My wife & I scoured the island for 2 long days searching for 2023 accom for a 2 mo stay. Coconut Inn was the most economical inc hot breakfast, taxes & fees. King bed in our 1 br unit was very comfortable; low, med, high hot water shower w/ rain head & soap, shampoo & conditioner included. House cleaning every day w/ fresh face, hand & shower towels; floors swept, bed made w/ weekly linen change for our 23 night stay.
Beach towels were provided daily. Front desk is very receptive to requests … & met in a timely manner.
Some units have been updated and others are in the process. An accom for all ages that we witnessed while there (guarantee bc of price, comfy & breakfast included).
We recommend the Coconut Inn w/ enthusiasm especially for longterm stays where budget is an issue.

The Coconut Inn was perfect for us! It was 15-20 min walk to Palm Beach area and completely safe. There are a number of restaurants and a delicious Aruban food truck near (subway parking lot). The maintenance man, housekeeping and Niurka were all lovely. Anytime we had questions they were quick to assist and provide ideas. The pool was clean and refreshing. The breakfast was the same everyday but good; pancakes, cornmeal patties, cereal, cold cut meats, eggs, toast, cheese, juice, coffee, tea and a few other items. There is an Asian restaurant across the street that has huge portions for an affordable price. The hotel room was clean, the ac was functional and it was equipped for a kitchenette (stove top, microwave, mini fridge and cookware).

I would definitely stay here again. The room rates were around $80-90usd a night. Stay here and save your money and enjoy Aruba!

They also booked us on two tours that were cheaper then going to the tour company directly. We had an amazing time at De Palm Island and the all day city tour.

Once you get to palm beach are, there is a bus that goes to Arashi beach (north) and to Oranjestad (south) for a couple dollars usd.

Enjoy!!!

I checked in 5 days ago. I told them I needed a quiet room for business. That never happened. It's sat at 10 30 p.m with kids screaming in the pool and loud music blasting right in front of my room. Why would they put me here? The room is dated. The bed is uncomfortable. The web sites all say they have bathtubs here with a pic. None have bathtubs. I tried sending 4 messages to the host about the unbelievable noise. Noone returned My messages. The price is very cheap. You get what you pay for. Concrete blocks near stairs all broken up. If you are desperate to go to aruba and you have very limited money....don't stay here. Just don't travel. Never again

The pictures do not do justice for this inn. It was such a cute, nice and clean inn. The room was very spacious and they cleaned it every day. It had a nice little kitchenette with a stove top, sink, nice size fridge, microwave and cups/plates/bowls/utensils. Our room also had a little balcony facing the pool. The breakfast was very delicious as well and better then I was expecting. We would totally stay here again!

There were not many options left when we were booking hotels. What attracted us were breakfasts and balconies.

The breakfast is good. Though limited choices and no vegetables, it tastes good and nice to get us ready for the day.

Here’s the rest:

There is no hot water. The shower was connected to some machine in the bathroom . It takes time to get warm water for shower. It is warm but never hot water.

We wake up a few times at night as Rooster starts crowing around 3 am.

The room given to us smells bad with mold all over the ceiling. There was no enough light in the room and we didn’t know that’s mold till later we found out.
There is no ventilation in the bathroom. That’s why rooms get moldy. Even the rooms do not have mold visible , can have mold under the paint. The mold is biggest issue with this hotel as this is harmful to health.

Frendly, peaceful, basic hotel. It is about 2km to the beach and takes about 20min by walking. Nearest place to eat is chinese else you have to walk about 10 minutes. Nearby street has no lights in the evening so you have to walk about 5 minutes in the dark. If you are in good condition then distance is no problem. Else you have to rent a car. Owner was very helpful and we took a car for our second week. Room was basic and clean. Swimmingpool was nice.
