You could be forgiven for thinking this place had already been blown up. The worst hotel I have ever seen on any continent. The entire room was not square which suggests very questionable construction. A/c did not work. When you flush the toilet it washed across the floor. One towel to share. One pillow to share. No toilet paper and...

This was without a doubt one of the most horrible "hotels" we encounterd during our five week trip through Brazil. Although we had booked a room weeks in advance, no one seemed to know (or care). The man at the reception made us really feel unwelcome and appointed us a room that was obviously not cleaned. There were empty beer...

We arrived in Cuiaba with no place to stay, and the taxi driver dropped us off here. The staff didn't speak any English, but they understood that we were just after a room for the night and it was fine.
