I stayed serveral days in March and cannot complain about the hostel as such, but it happened to me twice in one day that i was locked out. I almost had to riot outside because nobody was hearing the doorbell. Fortuately, another traveller was there to open the gate for me. For many hours per day nobody was in charge...

This is a nice hostel located in a superb neighbourhood in Cuiaba, portal of Pantanal. I have been to pantanal in MS and it is much better to go through Cuiaba, since the roads will take you to different places in a matter of an hour, whereas in Bonito you will need to be in a road for around 3...

I have stayed with them for a few days and had a really good time. Community area with pool table. cold drinks and swimming pool made my stay very pleasant, laid-back; AC in all the rooms, yummy and fresh breakfast, well-equipped kitchen for those whom like to prepare food on their own - that´s a huge plus. Friendly stuff, they...

Chilled out place with great swimming pool. Nice staff. Kitchen. Activities proposed are expensive, other agencies are cheaper. A little expensive for what it is. Breakfast not included. Still I I would go back.

Pantanal Backpacker HosteI felt like a second home to us (we stayed for four days). The entire staff is extraordinarily welcoming and helpful in any given situation. All facilities are clean and proper. Among the amenities are AC in all rooms, white bedlinen and a spaceous kitchen (well-equipped). The Hostel also provides a pool table, a tv/community area, cold drinks...

I when I went to cuiabá wanted a place with great location, good facilities and an agreeable price. Here I found this hostel. For anyone who...

I had a really lovely stay here. As a solo traveller, I found it easy to meet lovely people here, including the staff and owner, Alex. They go out of their way to help you and invite you along for social drinks, etc. The hostel has a nice vibe, chilled out with a swimming pool and lounge area, creating a...

We were three girls coming to Cuibaba to work with a project, and ended up staying two weeks at Pantanal Backpackers! The service was great and the staff was really friendly, they did all they could to make us comfortable and actually helped us a lot with the organization of our project (!) The owner, Alex, showed us his favourite...

After 6 months we still own USD 300,- from Pantanal Backpackers. We booked a tour by credit card which was cancelled in the morning. They promised us to send the money back via credit card account. The owner (Alex) promised a lot, but still we don't have it. At the hostel nobody is speaking English and for three days every...

We booked this hostel for a few nights during the World Cup despite the inflated price (500BRL/night) as availability was low in the town, the hostel was in a good spot and we were able to book through booking.com - a site that we had used successfully in the past. The dorm beds that we booked were supposedly the last...
