More than a hostel, the Truyaca is a small hotel, very well managed, very clean and with excellent service. The rooms are small but well designed and comfortable in a very attractive and quiet rural-urban environment. The continental breakfast deserves special mention, which includes the famous southern German kuchen, very delicious.

We spent a night there, on the way to Argentina. They waited for us until late to check in, which was appreciated (3:30 AM). The small but cozy room. The bed very comfortable. Without AC. The bathroom is small and only 1 towel. Breakfast very rich and varied. Very friendly people. As a transit hotel it is perfect.

Quaint and customer-oriented. Dining area with lots of wood. The free breakfast comes with lots of different cake options. The rooms are simple but impeccably clean. Bathroom layout is very functional. WiFi is reliable and fast. Nice small porch outside, as well as a small playground for kids. I only wanted to stay for one night but ended up extending. Happy I found this place!

This is a nice place to stay in the vicinity of Osorno - with simple and small rooms - but clean and comfortable - good service. Own parking lot and green surroundings - close to the airport and to the international highway 215 - if you are planning to cross the Andes ...

This small hotel is conveniently located near the highway 5. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean, and the rooms are comfortable. I had a wonderful night of sleep. This hotel is very simple, which is usually a plus for me. Breakfast was perfect for me: eggs cooked when I got to the table. I love the hot shower, one of the best I had in this trip. I would easily stay here again.

This is 2 minutes from route 5 (but very quiet) so really easy to find. It's a bit like a Travelodge although the rooms are a but smaller. They are comfortable with TV, bathroom inc shower, storage ect. Like most accommodation in South America the walls are a little thin, and you can hear the television in the next room. Parking is directly outside, off-road. The owners and staff are very friendly. We can't comment on the food as the (small) restaurant was closed for the weekend; we only discovered this after we had checked in and then went to eat, but they organised a pizza delivery and set a table for us. Be aware that there is nothing nearby, no restaurants or shops. We got a reduced rate through booking.com so it was very good value. We returned for a second night as the location is hard to beat if you are on route 5 and everyone is do friendly.

The hostal is a basic accommodation on the outskirts of Osorno,Chile. The rooms are small but clean with free internet and CNN. There is free parking right outside the front door. The breakfast buffet was good and I believe they have a limited dinner menu also. It is quite a distance to the downtown and there are no restaurants nearby. We couldn't find any banks or ATM's anywhere and we only had Argentine pesos. Fortunately they accepted the Pesos at the toll booths. Finally we found a large Imarc supermarket that had everything including ATM machines.

This is a lovely homely feel place. It is on a large block which is well kept. It has a lovely country feel even though it is on a main road. No noise problem though. The staff are very friendly. we had dinner and breakfast and it was simple but nice.The owner is very friendly and even took us into Osorno to catch the coach. It is about $6 by cab into Osorno and the bus stop is right outside the main entrance. Maybe 10 mins into Osorno. The rooms are very small with not much room to move. Otherwise it is a nice little place.

The owners and staff were very warm and welcoming. Wonderful food thanks to Marisol. Not an extensive menu, but delicious home cooked meals. Small basic rooms with washroom / shower, but spotlessly clean. Bus very conveniently passed in front of the Truyaca frequently (waited less than 5 mins) directly into centre of Osorno. For students, conveniently located directly across the street from the Universidad de Los Lagos.
