Stayed in one of the single rooms for 2 nights on my way to Santiago. I absolutely loved this hostel, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good, the room had a very good Wifi connections. Highly recommend it! would stay again.

My son and I stayed in this hostal for one night on our way back from the south of Chile... price paid for a room with 3 twin beds for 2 people... $27.000 CLP or about $54 US. This is what we found: The good: 1.) Clean. 2.) Comfortable twin beds. 3.) Nice blankets and bedspread (which was needed, see...

I stayed one night at Hostal del Rio, and I was surely impressed by the rooms. Being used to hostals and dorms, I got myself a single-room and it was Super clean. Private bathroom, they give towels, it felt like I was in a great hotel ! Own TV with cable, bed confortable. I arrived earlier than the check-in time...

Hostel Del Rio is good value for money and well located. Our double room with private bathroom was not huge but big enough and spotless - and it was made up and fresh towels supplied each day. The building is functional but lacks character - behind the old façade it is a modern motel like structure but is really central...
