Over the last ten years or so I have stayed at this hotel. While the general area has undergone some soft renovation during all these years, the rooms have not. Now they really look beaten up and dated despite for the fact that they are kept clean by an amazing housekeeping staff. The good thing is that each room is equipped... More

This hotel is pretty much ski in/out at the slopes. The rooms are average, but that being said, you're not spending much time in the room. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the maids were more than eager to take care of small housekeeping issues. The food at the restaurants was very good! You get breakfast and... More

An excellent destination for snowboarding and skiing with friends and family. The warm temps of Spring conditions with no clouds, no wind, and no new snow (and few people on the slopes) made it a great place for the groups of friends from California who were mostly beginners. An unforgettable landscape and vista surrounding the resort allowed us a glimpse... More

I went to Valle Nevado for 4 days and I stayed in Puerta del Sol because I couldn't find another room availability next to the Ski Spot in Valle Nevado. The prices was ok, but the staff had a average services, and the room were just OK. We could choose the restaurants for every night dinners (which it was very... More

this is the closest hotel to the lift, but like most ski club hotels, it is a bit adventuresome. Be prepared to have inconsistent hot/freezing water, even if on only hot. The hairdryer so are a challenge, bring your own, and the Internet, while free, is spotty. now prepare to enjoy spectacular views of the Andes. Enjoy some very good... More

Summer skiing for a week was the perfect escape from the heat. Although there was plenty of snow, no dump during our visit so there were limited off piste opportunities. Which is too bad. Between Valle Nevado, El Colorado and La Parva, we could see that there was plenty of great terrain had we had a powder day or two.... More

Closed at lunch. Dinner is a buffet featuring salad bar, soup, cheeses, bread, hot vegetables and meats. Made to order grill with steak, fish, chicken, sausage. Pasta station with different sauces and vegetables to add. Desert station with cakes, ice cream, assorted small deserts. Overall food tasted just average.

Very good hotel! With a good infra! They have a heat swimming pool outside... good for relaxing after a day of skying. The staff is easygoing and they try to make your experience worth your money. Remember always to top, because they will help you more. There are people who take drinks and snacks because the price is high, i... More

We enjoyed a 3 night stay (2 adults and our 2 children). The staff were excellent, the hotel was comfortable (if very dated) and the food choices relatively good. The main positive was the convenient access to the slopes and all amenities. The main negative was the price (for everything).

A lot of money for lack of skills in customer service and basic infrastructure, such as wi-fi in each room. They named this as 4 stars but it's about a 3. Had a terrible experience going up the hill but i decided to write it down to the "Valle Nevado" resort.
