We spent 3 days at Posada Amazons and it was a real treat. Our guide 'Señor Rodolfo' was brilliant with great knowledge and experience along with fantastic english. The staff made you feel at home throughout the stay and would recommend this location to anyone looking to experience the 'real amazon'. This is an experience that should not be missed

It really did feel like we were living in the middle of the jungle - with a bit of comfort... We were here for 5 nights and 4 days and that was the perfect amount of time to see and take part in all the activities available. We had Armando who was great fun to be with. He was from...

I first came here in April 2013 with a friend. We didn't know what to expect so only stayed for 3 days - which simply wasn't enough for me, l just had to come back! I returned in November 2014 and stayed for 5 days this time and once again, was overwhelmed by the whole experience - it still went...

We booked our tour Via G Adventures and it was a delightful experience! Upon arrival at Puerto Maldonado we were met by our guide. Our guide took us to the Rainforest Expeditions office to sort out our bags as we were only allowed to take a small duffel bag with us for the four days. Soon we were on the...

Dear Guest, Thanks for choosing Posada Amazonas as your destination. We are glad to read that you saw so much wildlife including the rarely seen anaconda! Indeed, our eco lodge is half open to the forest and bats, birds, insects can visit the rooms regularly. This gives our visitors an extra experience, really close to the forest. However, these animals...

Accomodation was incredible, the staff, the tours, the experience and the food! The ethics that the lodge runs by regarding the community and the environment are inspiring. Actually I've done this particular tour twice in my life. It was so good I took a family member back who was passionate about the amazon.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We got to see a good deal of wild life in our short time there. They serve very good cocktails at the bar. I have mixed feelings about this expedition. Our family of five came to the Posada Amazona after being in the Andes and hiking to Machu Picchu. We paid close to $500/ room, so $1000 a night for 3 nights. For that price, we all expected to be in the lap of luxury. Maybe we did not understand eco tourism. I...

A flight from Cusco, a busride to the Rainforest Expedition offices to dump most of your luggage, a 45+ minute busride to the river, a 45+ minute ride on the river (lunch was chifa - fried rice - wrapped in a banana leaf), and a 15 minute walk through the mud to the hotel.... upon arrival, an ice cold cloth...

I was with a group and we had Luis and Oscar as our guides. Luis was fantastic, so knowledgable and friendly. All of the staff at the lodge are so friendly. I loved the rooms, however some visitors were inconsiderate and forgot the walls were made of bamboo talking loudly at 4am and waking us up when we had done...
