We wanted to overnight in Saint Emilion for 2 reasons. One so I can enjoy wine with dinner without having to worry about driving back somewhere, and to soak in the atmosphere of Saint Emilion in the evening after the day trippers have all gone home. For that reason we booked the Merlot suite at Les Logis Du Roy. Even...

This apartment is on the top floor (3rd floor stone spiral staircase) When we arrived, the young man offered to carry our luggage up the stairs, which I took advantage of. He was also able to rebook the wifi as it wasn't initially available, but the reboot solved the problem and we had no issues after that. The room was...

Thanks to Sidney, who picked us up at the train station. We rented the Magnum Suite, which had a large living room/dining room area, good kitchen with a 2 burner stove, a great shower and bathroom, and a separate bedroom. Someone delivers fresh pain au chocolat, croissants, and a baquette every morning for breakfast. During the day, someone delivers jam,...

We recently had a very lovely 3 day stay at Les Logis Du Roy and stayed in the Merlot room. Bed was comfortable, lovely bathroom, pleasant sitting area and amenities. Breakfast was typically French and also pleasant. My only suggestions would be if the door hardware could be attended to (replaced), we noticed the other doors had new handles &...

The location is ideal for exploration of the village and there are a good selection of restaurants nearby. Spacious, clean apartment. "Reception" is at an adjoining wine shop and although I explained on arrival that I would check out at 10am because of a long journey, at that time the shop was closed. I rang on my mobile and was...

A nice Room in the center of Saint Emilion. Had been a 5/5 if they would have added cheese to the breakfast. Also no Wine opener. Newly renovated. Polite , helpfull and service minded staff. Parkingspace very Close.

It was very confortable. We were 6 and had 2 suites. One of them was the Magnum Suite for 4 people with a dining room table and a sofabed. The other suite was the Merlot suite which was perfect for 2. I specially liked to come back and sit in its living room after a whole day of walking. Location...

We were lucky to get a night in the Merlot Suite - everywhere we tried was booked! I fell in love instantly with the design and location and requested an extra night, but the suite was already reserved. Our host found alternative accommodation for us, which was so generous! The only (minor) flaw is that all of tables have glass...
