A lovely family-run guesthouse. Sara speaks french, english and german and offers a really warm welcome at Pension Chloe. Only 5 rooms (2-6 beds) = very quiet and clean. If the nights get cold a heater can be switched on in the bathroom and in the room. Very convenient place with small children. 5 minutes walk from the main entrance of Europa-Park. Breakfast is excellent with sweet and salty items. Parking available and safe. We spend two nights and we can highly recommend this Pension. We will go back...

We received a warm welcome at the Pension Chloé, where German, French and English are spoken. We also received some good advice about making the most of our time at Europapark the following day and the name of a restaurant for our evening meal (the recommendation was good, as we ate well for a reasonable price). Our room was simple but very clean and had everything we needed, with the possible exception of a hairdryer - so take it with you! There was a double bed and bunk beds for our two children and we slept very well despite all the excitement about the day to come. Breakfast was continental, with cheese and cold meats in addition to the usual fare.
We found the Pension very good value for money and our hosts very welcoming. The off-street parking is a bonus too. We would already be planning to return if it wasn't for the fact that it is fully booked for the dates we wanted to go in October. So we'd aim to book early another time as others obviously appreciated Pension Chloé as much as we did!

My husband and I were visiting Europapark during a long weekend. We arrived before check-in officially started, just wondering if we could at least park there while we went to Europapark. We were actually able to go ahead and check in, freshen up, then head to the park. The owners/operators are so sweet and seemed like they would go out of their way to accommodate their customers. The wife is Canadian, so no need to worry about a language barrier for the English-speaking visitors. Our only complaint was the noise in the morning, but nothing that could be controlled (newspaper delivered, trash pick-up, and eventual morning traffic). Our room was clean and functional. Breakfast was great with a nice variety of breads, cheeses, meats, yogurt, cereal, toast, waffles, coffee, and juices.
We did get to see a room in one of the themed hotels in Europapark. DEFINITELY glad we chose to stay off the park! Our friends paid WAY more than us and didn't get anything extra. If visiting the area for Europapark, I would definitely recommend staying away from the park unless convenience has no price tag to you. An overall great stay and we would definitely stay there again (with American peanut butter Sarah!).

What can I say, Sarah is awesome. Very friendly, open, relaxed and sweet. We loved staying here. Very very close to Europa Park. Seriously, 5 min walk. Chloe’s place is simple, cozy, clean and spacious. Thanks for hosting, we will definitely come back. Everyone including the kids LOVED you and your home.

Great place to stay when visiting Europa Park or the Alsace. Ideal location to visit the Black Forest area of Germany or Alsace region of France. Rooms are very clean and host is extremely pleasant. We've already made plans to return in June.

This place was great! My friends and I had three rooms to ourselves which slept all 7 of us comfortably. Clean and peaceful! The staff was so nice and accommodating! Free breakfast in the mornings, I miss those chocolate muffins. It's very close to Europa park, like 5-10 minute walk close. Has a very welcoming vibe. I will definitely come back!

It's just like spending time with friends at their home! Sarah and Ramino (and Chloe) made the stay so comfortable and enjoyable that we never wanted to leave! I have to admit that I'm always late for breakfast, yet Sarah went above and beyond to feed us, provide clean linens, and clean up after us! I can't say enough about them! The location is within walking distance to Europa Park, on the main road but with a lovely yard for some peace and quiet, and plenty of parking. Even a great little restaurant/bar just down the street! The rooms are clean, spacious, charming, and comfortable. Thanks a million!!!

Is old, is full of spider, linen was not clean. I stayed in the guesthouse of images posted but in a building across the street. We varied breakfast, only 2 sausage and two kinds of cheese, melted cheese actually. Desert horn of supermarkets and fruit.
Just only well positioned, close to park. It is parking. Wooden furniture but very old building.

Response from Ramino R, Geschäftsführer at Pension Chloe
Responded Aug 22, 2012
Sorry to read about your miserable stay with us. To our defense of course I will reply to your comment. Yes I admit the building is old, as for the spiders…. Europa Park is situated in a nature reserve area plus Rust is a village so the occasional spider or bug will be present. As for the linens being dirty, I sorry but with that I do not agree. You were here 3 days, why didn’t you say something right away? Of course they would’ve been changed. We do have 2 houses as stated on our reservation form, a main building and an annex. The guest does not have the choice of choosing it’s house. It goes by availability at the time your reservation comes in. I think for breakfast is more than fine you have…. Fresh buns from the bakery, juices, milk, yoghurt, muffins, waffles, choc croissants (which yes they are from the grocery store) cold cuts, cheese, cereal and fruit. Breakfast is from 8 to 9am, if you came towards the end of course the buffet we won’t be as full but if you needed anything you should’ve asked the staff. Our standard is not a luxury hotel but a Bed & Breakfast…. Which is clearly reflected in the price. Kind Regards, Pension Chloé

Just got back from Rust where we stayed in Pension Chloé. Sarah and her daughter Chloé are really sweet. We booked the 6 beds room and everything was fine. Room is large with a second room attached. Bathroom with shower only. Very clean. Breakfast is included simple but fine (there are so many places to eat in the park anyway...).
Location is perfect as about 5 min. walking distance. We left our car in Pension's parking lot which was good to avoid traffic jam leaving the park. We had dinner at Ochsen recommended by Sarah and it was very good (typical German courses like Schnitzel, etc.) then at a Pizzeria 2 min. away. We had a great time in Rust and we will definitely come back some time!

Sarah is a super-host! She's made us feel at home, since the moment we arrived the hotel! Pension Chloé is very well located, 10 minutes until Europa Park main gate and close to shops and restaurants. Family room is spacious and comfortable, coffee and water bottle complimentary. Lovely shower, bathroom with basic yet great amenities. Good wi-fi, no issues with it. Breakfast was very good, the kids loved every bite! Sarah, thank you so much, you're the best! Kiddos were delighted with their farewell gift! They want to know when we'll be back to Germany, to stay again with you!
