The hotel is very nice and perfectly located for visiting Europa-Park. The main restaurant was closed leaving the $$$ Buffett (same issue at 4 hotels on this trip) vs very nice outdoor pizzeria—we thoroughly enjoyed the latter 2 nights. Only hotel complaint was the mattress was stiff as a rock—hardest we have ever experienced. Suite was small but nice.

We spent one night here with our two kids 8 & 11. The lobby is clean and impressive but immediately there was a huge line to check in around 9:30am. The room is small and clean and our kids loved the bunk beds. The linens and pillows left a a lot to be desired, but good enough for one night. Major complaint- no coffee in the room! It’s a little thing, but the breakfast buffet had a huge line so for me waiting so long for coffee in the morning was not pleasant. Also- we had dinner at Pizza Romantica which was good food but again, long wait for a table so definitely reserve ahead. The show that night was spectacular and the kids loved it. I know that staffing is an issue world wide and the park over all has been trying to remedy this by raising wages. Just be prepared for lots of lines.

Family of 5, stayed in a standard plus that overlooked the outdoor plaza. Was a little noisy at night because we had our windows wide open to get cool air, but we didn’t mind it. Check in was a breeze (but we checked in on a Friday...the Saturday morning line was NUTS!). The beds are comfortable...pillows a bit too soft for my liking, but not a deal breaker. The staff members were very friendly and spoke English very well. If we were to stay again we will definitely book a suite to give us more room. A little disappointed that the pool is only available for 30mins per family, but I guess during the time of COVID, I can appreciate their trying to ensure proper distancing while giving more guests an opportunity to swim. Not a fan of the breakfast, but again, until buffet style service can be made available, it is what it is. Overall, we had an awesome three day stay and would recommend to other families with kiddos.

The hotel is very beautiful inside and outside, with all you would expect in a 4+ star establishment (spa, pool, entertainment, etc) . The buffet breakfast was one of the best we've had. Very vast choice and everything was delicious.
However, the rooms, though nicely decorated, are what you would find as standard rooms in a 3* hotel, not a 4*. We had booked for 3 adults, but the room had a double bed and 2 bunk beds that would be fine for children but not for an adult. Being 1.90m long, a very tall adult wouldn't even fit. As it was, it was barely ok for the 3rd person with us, and quite hard, the mattress being laid on a wooden bottom, no spring box. We asked if we could have a room that would be more adapted to adults, but were told that the hotel only had 5 rooms with 2 double beds and that we should have required it at booking. 5 rooms, In a hotel that size, it was rather surprising to hear.
There was a cute but very small wardrobe that wouldn't be sufficient for a family with kids either.
No mini-bar, no hot pot with tea and coffee as we'e always had in 4* hotels and even in some 3*. Two bottles of mineral water were provided, which was a nice gesture, but when we asked if we could have a 3rd one as we were 3 people in the room, we were told that it wasn't possible.
The tissus box had 5 tissues left in it, again, not up to a 4* hotel standards.
So, a bit of a disappointment for a hotel of this category. We are of course comparing it to other standard rooms we've had in the same category hotels and not to the suites which I'm sure are very nice.
Tip for adults having to share a room: Don't forget to require a room with 2 double beds, unless you have a small person with you who will be happy in a bunk bed.

Bit of a mixed bag this one. Communal areas are great and we loved the pool. Liked the fact that we could get a big room for the whole family. Europa park is fabulous and a very short walk away. Parking was easy. Staff very helpful. Breakfast varied and good quality.
But the room itself didn't really feel 4 star. The shower was basic and the shower door didn't fit properly and so leaked every time we used it. We couldn't get the TV to work ( not a big deal as we were not in the room much) The bathroom itself was very cramped. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room or fridge.... Probably to encourage you to buy the expensive coffee and drinks on site or from the vending machines in the corridor. The linen was similar to that you get in a budget hotel.
So all in all a good convinient place to stay for the theme park but not a "luxury room".

My boyfriend and I wanted to book a night here. Because I did not sleep a wink at the Airbnb. The hotel were we stayed at was only booked for two nights. The place at the Airbnb was not an option for me anymore.

After I explained the situation at the reception and asked what the possibilities were, the staff member called the hotel were we stayed. To check and confirm things. He did not even mention this, we heard this when he was talking on the phone. (As if he did not believed our story.)

He did not even tell us what he was planning to do. Even after he called another person for god knows what reason. I heard him confirming and booking a room for us. Even after I asked what the price per night was, he did not answer. Even after the second time I later mentioned, he just ignored it completely.

The only good thing about the conversation was, that they were already fully booked.
If that wasn't the case I would have refused to stay there.

How can it be normal to decide everything beforehand without saying a thing to us, while we were standing right in front of the guy.

Therefore no communication, none.
For the entire time and to top things of, making phone calls to make a reservation. The whole situation was way to untrustworthy.

The staff member was very unhelpful, very impatient and obviously unreliable. If you don't get a straight answer about such an easy question, then it's obvious they are not willing to be honest about their prices. And they are not willing to be trusted. So it's obvious that we won't be coming here ever again! When we need help, we know were we won't be welcomed at and that we will be treated badly.

I gave the hotel 2 stars because of its location. Great location to visit Europa Park. The rooms are also decent and are clean. But, it all stops there. First, you do get early entry into the park but none of the good rides are open. We went in early to run around the most popular rides just to find the best part of the park cordoned off. So, don't be fooled by the early entry. Not worth it. Second we were exhausted and wanted to come back for a rest at 1530 just to find that the room had not been cleaned. We left the room at 0730. They have a show every night for 30 minutes but it's quite low budget and a disappointment. In the end, I would recommend you save your hard earned money and get a hotel outside the park. There are a few to chose from which are very good and can give this one a run for its money any day. I struggle to find a reason why I would ever spend money by staying here again.overpriced and overrated.

Room Tip: The Spa is a naked spa. The pool is mediocre. The steam room was broken when we came..

Overal a great hotel with great service. 4th time i have bin in EP, first time this hotel.
The only negative thing was that there where to much people with lots of noise. I even can't here what the receptionist was telling me because of the noise.
Pre-check in and digital check out works fine and simple. No time losing there.

We went in this hotel for my little sister birthday and that was a wonderful weekend. The swimming pool is perfect to relax yourself before or after a day in Europa Park.
Maybe a little bit expensive but you know for what you pay !
