Spent a week at the Masa as part of a group of 20 (10 adults and 10 children). It's a wonderful place: fantastic accommodation, great food and an unbelievable setting. Luiz, Jenny and Rodriguez looked after us so well and were so accommodating. The places to go to they suggested were perfect and the restaurants that they booked for us...

We live in Madrid and were recommended Mas de la Serra from our friends and were very thankful. It's a 4 hour drive from Madrid through Zaragoza and totally isolated. When you pass Fuentespalda on the highway look closely for the small sign and then proceed down a fun 5km road until arriving to the house. The scenery is stunning,...

We only stayed here for a weekend, but when we returned to Madrid I honestly felt like I'd been away for several weeks. Jenny and Luis looked after us so well, providing endless delicious meals. The hotel itself is in a magical spot with incredible views and the owner has thought of everything when providing facilities for his guests -...

We wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing after 3 nights in Barcelona (about two and a half hours away) and Mas De La Serra turned out to be an excellent choice. The property which used to be a watch tower on the top of a hill in the Matarranya region (bordering Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia) had been tastefully and comfortably restored...

Wonderful two nights spent here in August. We wished we had stayed far longer. Jenny and Luis are gracious hosts and the hotel was spotless, in a spectacular location and we can not wait to return. It is an interesting access road but our rental, a Toyota Yaris, made it without any problems. Remote but with excellent wireless Internet access,...

This place was nice, super chilled out. Like having your own private villa. Really remote though. The road up to it is a 5km dirt track so I was scared. It's meant to be like a house so you do whatever you like, make your own lunch and there is an honesty bar which is sweet. The hosts were a...

We spent only one and a half days at Mas de la Serra in June 2013...by far not enough time to experience the full beauty the area offers for smaller excursions and day tours starting right in front of the hotel. However, the time was long enough for us to be enchanted by our wonderful hosts, Louis and Jenny, who...

We stayed with as a group of 5 families with 10 kids between us. From start to finish we were made to feel at home. Great food cooked by Luis and Jenni who were friendly and professional. The house is a real labour of love - recently restored over 5 years by Alasdair, the owner. The area is remote and...

We stayed a couple of nights during late November whilst travelling through Northern Spain, a fantastically remote location. Excellent accommodation which reminded us internally of a Scottish castle. Excellent and willing hosts wanting to ensure that the experience is enjoyable.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a long weekend staying at Mas de la Serra. We unexpectedly found ourselves to be the only guests at the property, which was daunting for all of about 30 mins and then we lapped it up. Very remote, total utter silence, beautiful scenery, weather and facilities. We couldn't have asked for more....
