Lovely last day of my brief stay in Spain. I was travelling alone having left my two companions in Santiago de Compostela. The staff at reception were extremely pleasant and helpful in providing me with a map of Pontevedra and getting me a taxi to Vigo Airport. The waitress in the cafeteria in the evening and at breakfast was very...

Lovely old hotel, great location, friendly and exceptionally helpful staff who are very knowledgable and try to help in every way. Car parking is a little tight! Wifi is not available in the room due perhaps to the wall structure. Wifi was good in the lounge.

A brilliant Gala evening was spent in Pontevedra, our favourite parador in Galicia. Absolutely nothing to complain about and everything to praise. Well done to all who looked after us, we look forward to a return visit.

Our second visit to this Parador. A lovely building with beautiful rooms and close to the historic centre. It is quieter than other Paradors which is no bad thing, though it meant the restaurant at dinner lacked atmosphere, But the dinner was one of the best we have had in a Parador and a bargain at 26 Euros. Breakfast was...

The food was excellent, everyone worked hard to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The car parking is limited but the staff did their best to fit us in. Interesting building. Wifi variable in room but fine downstairs.

My partner and I very much enjoyed our relaxing afternoon and night at the Parador after walking 22 km on the Portuguese Camino. This Parador is typical of others I have enjoyed, historic, elegant and comfortable. The vibe is that of a small boutique hotel, the staff is the only disappointment, they may be understaffed. When I was relaxing in...

We stayed here for one night during our Camino. Another Parador with poor A/C and hard beds. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the location of this hotel. We purchased a water from the bar and could not believe what they charge for water! We should have purchased water in town but everything was closed after we had dinner....

I stayed in this hotel once before whilst doing Camino and enjoyed the luxury of a decent room after a week of hostels. I returned again this week and noticed that as previous the front desk don't appear too happy to have scruffy backpackers in the hotel even though we are paying the full rate. We asked if a small...

Waiting until 8:30pm for the restaurant to open after an 8 and a half day on the Portuguese Camino was bad enough but understandable in Spain but sitting at a table for over an hour waiting for a glass of wine and a soup starter was just not on . What's more the tourists in the dining room seemed to...

This is a lovely property at the edge of the historic district. I had room 446 on the top floor. It had twin beds, pushed very close together.  It is far away from the elevator, almost at the end of the hall and very quiet.    Bathroom was good size.  There is a nice lounge area just around the corner from...
