We stayed for 4 nights in room 2 which had a view of both bays from the top windows. It was a very nice room but up on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. It is good exercise if you are fit . Breakfast had wonderful sausages and also good kippers. Evening meal was always delicious.

At start of season when dining room not yet operating, was sad not to experience the splendid meals usually on offer. However, following shocking crossing, we were welcomed warmly as ever and allowed to 'recover' in our own time. Usual welcome from the staff who have been in place for so long; home from home is not too much of...

We were pleased to be able to welcome you back again, and on our day of opening for the season too! Grabbing a late deal as you did offered the special offer B&B tariff (the first 4 days of the season was when only B&B was available). We hope to see you again later in the year perhaps to enjoy...

We'd decided to take a holiday on St Mary's and booked into the Bell Rock Hotel on the strength of a local recommmendation. Plus points would definitely include the overall standard of catering and furnishings and unfailingly polite and attentive service. The location in Hugh Town's main street is also a convenient one as there's only a few minutes walk...

The Bell Rock Hotel apartment is beautifully appointed 2 person accommodation. The flat is on the second floor and is accessed by its own external stairway. There are two large rooms. The bedroom has a king size bed and loads of room and its own TV. The living/kitchen area is also spacious and comfortable and also has a TV. The...

Back again for the umpteenth visit - welcomed by Manager with a 'Welcome Home' greeting! Never need to worry about standard at this establishment - 2 Star doesn't cover the quality, management, catering and general ambience and we can't wait for next year when we will return to relive our holiday.

We booked our stay in the Bell Rock relatively late in the season, and were grateful to Daniel, the Manager, for his help and patience in sorting out arrangements and answering our questions. Initial impressions on arrival were positive. We were greeted courteously, taken to our room, and made to feel genuinely welcome. The hotel is relatively small, and has...

The Scillies was somewhere that we had always intended to visit , but had never got around to . After rave reviews from family who go regularly , we bit the bullet , braved The Scillonia and went. I booked the Bell Rock because it appeared to tick the boxes( unpretentious , comfortable , convenient ) and we weren`t disappointed...

We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay in the Bell Rock hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals were very good and served promptly even though we were part of a group. Our room had all we needed. I especially liked the cushions and bed runner and (hallelujah!) there were two chairs. I would definitely stay there if...

I came here for four nights with a friend and we were so pleased we stayed here. We originally booked on a b and b basis but the evening meals were so good that we ate in every night. Three courses, beautifully cooked and presented with very good waitressing staff. We had a ground floor twin bedded room at the...
