The proprietors (Matt and Devina) and the staff of the Temagami Shores Inn were great to deal with and extremely accommodating during our stay between July 1st and July 5th.

The were in complete compliance with all of the Covid requirements which was very comforting and kept our Lakeview room spotless!

The cleaning staff did a great job keeping our room clean and refreshed with towels etc.

They have a great boat launch that is easy to access and the fishing was fantastic!

The entire property was very well kept and they're located just outside of town.

The only issue we had during our stay is that we didn't want to leave!

We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed here April 8/21, the place was spotless and very tastefully decorated. The hostess was more than gracious, we didn’t have dinner and she made a dinner for us which was delicious even thought the restaurant was closed. We were also able to get a bottle of wine with our meal. We enjoyed our meal sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful views. We also travel with our three pets and that wasnt a problem to her. Not too many places are friendly to having that many.
It’s a real shame that when you google Temagami shores inn and resorts and you look at the results one review pops up stating WHAT A DUMP from 2015. So totally unfair to this couple who have done an amazing job fixing up this resort. Trip advisor should take it down or delete it. It’s totally irrelevant to what’s happening there now. Beautiful place, we will be back for sure and recommending your place to everyone Thanks so much

We loved our stay at Temagami Shores Resort! Clean rooms, very comfortable beds and great quality sheets. The property is very well maintained and the attention to small details can be seen everywhere. The outdoor grill under the canopy and community firepit beside the water are so enjoyable. We had a fabulous visit!

I stayed at this Inn for 2 nights. The morning afterthe first night, I complained that the bathtub was no cleaned as there was hair fromthe last person that stayed. Owner said he would send his cleaner. Later in the afternoon, we came back from fishing the cleaner had been to our room, the bathtub was still not clean. My husband took a picture and went to the owner who sent the cleaner again. The cleaner began raising her voice saying this was the 2nd time se had cleaned it. I showed her that no it was not done. She took brown paper towel and then tossed it on the bathroom floor. Then got up raising her voice more saying the owner saw the tub and approved. She left bi did not wash out the tub only picking out the hair that was there. If staying up North I do not recommend staying here. At 140 per night, you can get much better. We didnt bother ordering food from the owners restaurant after seeing the cleanliness of their room. I also didnt bother complaining aboutthe floor not being vacuumed. By the way I used to be a hotel cleaner. For me to say something it's bad. Not good with Covid going around!!!

this was a nice place with free water toys- canoes, etc. and nice staff. the restaurant serves plain food slowly - they seemed overwhelmed when they were full but pleasant. the room itself was slightly noisy as it is near a busy highway but otherwise the room was clean, comfortable and had a good view of the lake.

My husband and I had the best time at Shores Inn. To start, the Deluxe Lakeside part is newly renovated and super clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. The lake was amazing, we went fishing on an average 4-5hrs daily and never got bored. Great fishing, if u find the perfect spot. The owners really do take pride in this establishment and they were very friendly And helpful. The restaurant, due to Covid was closed but take out was available on Wednesday only (while there) I believe it’s open on weekends - that’s too bad as the chef there is amazing and our dinner was done to perfection. My only suggestion is for those who have never been up there is to bring food with u for the fridge as there aren’t many options for eating out. The Petro Canada station has a good restaurant but watch out for the hours (closes are 3pm), Country Style is open longer. The town nearby, New Liskeard, u have to check out the Country Kitchen Restaurant for breakfast - loved it.

Overall we were very very happy with our stay. We plan on coming back next year. Can’t wait.

We stayed at this resort last night as a stop on our way home from a long trip to and from Kapuskasing to visit friends. Temagami is about halfway home. Booked this hotel thinking once we checked in we could take a nice hike/walk through the Temagami forest before dinner and settling in. I was told check in was at 3 pm so we planned our trip home based on this. We arrived at 3:30 and were told our room wouldn’t be ready for an hour due to many late check outs. We weren’t really happy about that, but took the truck to get gas came back and sat in the restaurant to have drinks while we waited. And we waited. After having 2 drinks each, we went out and then waited in the parking lot. Finally the room was ready, at 5:30 pm. That’s a full 2.5 hours after check in time. Had someone contacted us to let us know the check in would have been that delayed we would have made plans to leave later and spend more time with our friends, or do something else along they way, rather than spending an extra $33 on drinks.

As for the room it was a very nice, lake view room, clean with comfortable beds. We had takeout wings at the restaurant and they were very good.

Really disappointed with this stay as I’d done a bit of planning to stay somewhere unique and hopefully memorable during our road trip. The check in is really all we’ll remember.

The friend I was with stated he and his wife had stayed at this place years ago. And it was great. Our server Nancy set the place without a fish and chips. My friend is 94 and I just ordered the pickerel for the two of us he had a ginger ale and I had a coffee. The coffee unfortunately was lukewarm and Nancy said she would put on a fresh pot. The pickerel was great are very generous size portion. The fries were wonderful a side of coleslaw which was great and a medley of onions mushrooms and green peppers unfortunately were warm.

I made reservations with Matt on the phone and felt like I knew him after a few minutes. When we arrived we were met my Matt and his wife Davina. We couldn't have been made more welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. I believe they were just renovated. We were in cabin 24 and had a beautiful view of the lake. The day of checkout we called to see if they were serving breakfast but because of COVID-19 they weren't but she said she would make us some breakfast anyway and brought out a very nice breakfast for us to eat on one the picnic tables. These 2 deserve to do well as their people skills are fantastic and their willingness to please is unparalled. Good Luck to you both and we look forward to seeing you guys again next time we're in your area. All the best.

Stayed with a group of 15. Staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating with the logistics of settling in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A large meeting room was a convenience we didn’t expect but really appreciated. The restaurant was spacious and the menu had lots of options - the best fries, and salads, too! They arranged ice skating on the lake, a bon fire under the moon, snow-shoeing in the woods… all made for an unforgettable experience. This business is operated by a hard working family and staff. We all felt welcomed.
