As always, great and quaint experience at CANUSA. It really is a slice of paradise and the experience on a pristine island is special. Highly recommend! Cottages are always clean and well maintained. Temagami lake is very clear and great fishing. The beach and dock are are my favourite spots on the island while the kids love the well maintained volleyball/basketball court. Good times!

I am familiar with lake Temagami so I already knew that it's a beautiful lake, worth the drive from the GTA, but I had never stayed at a cottage there. Throughout the booking process, the owner was prompt in emailing me back and answering all of my questions. When we arrived, they were extremely helpful and kind. Whenever a problem arouse they fixed it immediately. They taxied a friend back when he left something in the car. They took us out on their houseboat free of charge and made sure my friends had a good time. They even gave us some extra pickerel fillets for the BBQ. I did not want to leave! All of my friends had a lot of fun and thanked me for bringing them there but really they should have thanked the owners. I will definitely come back again! (8 people, cottages 5 and 8, 4 nights/5 days)

Located 18 km southwest of Temagami town and a short 500 yards from the boat launch, you get a head start into the heart of fishing country. Bonus: they sell Avgas because the owner is a pilot! 7 well maintained, clean and comfortable lodges with Bell satellite, BBQ, lots of hot water, baseboard heaters and clean kitchen. Brenda has thought of everything and Nelson as an electrician has everything laid out practically and safely. We stayed in lodge 6 Westpoint that can sleep 6 and faces west. There is a separate, clean, organized fish cleaning kitchen hut. Privacy is good between docks. Worthwhile to buy a map from the office so you can navigate the numerous channels and bays. Temagami is a quiet and unspoiled jewel with peaceful fishermen and families gliding by in houseboats. The owners are friendly and helpful and very hardworking to make you comfortable. We will be back!

Stunning nature very well worth the long ride from Toronto, the lake is the cleanest I've seen so far, great fishing, awesome hiking nearby - do rent a boat!
The owners are the sweetest people. Cottages are kept clean and well equipped. Little beach is perfect - a slide, shallow area with clean sand, deck chairs and recliners, nice spacious hottub with a great view.
We've had a wonderful week, kids had a blast, thank you Canusa!

What a great little gem if you are looking for a stay in the Temagami area. Nice renovated cottage provided us with a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The beach and waterslide were a hit with our kids.

We rented a 2 bedroom cottage on a little island on lake Temagami with another couple. The island had about 6 cottages on it but was very private. The owners stopped by to see if we needed anything, helped us out whenever required. There was an outdoor hot tub that was wonderful to relax in under the stars. Fishing was great.
