What a stroke of luck ending up here. Trying to book into Bellingen last minute during the Bello winter music fest the only vacancy available was the Lodge. We lucked out big time. Friendly owner on check in got us off to a good start. Rooms where a little dark and dated but i didn't really mind. There is a...

Stayed at the Bellingen Valley Lodge while in Bellingen for the Turtle Festival this year on our way up to see family. Great weekend. Room was a good size and really clean. Had breakfast overlooking the mountains. Great views and really quiet.

Great place to stay in the beautiful Bellingen country. Very quiet. Our room was well kept and had everything we needed. Stayed only one night while on a long drive and wish we could have stayed on longer.

Stayed one night, yes rooms are not modern but they are functional and the bed was super comfy and spacious. Reception upon arrival was warm and friendly and although the motel is just off the main road there is no traffic noise. Overall a lovely tranquil stay.

Donna M. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. It is a tricky balance between keeping that "lodge" feel whilst catering to the guest in today's "4 plain wall" style motels. Luckily we have both on offer on our property and the tranquillity is wonderful with only our cows to break the night silence. See you next...

Stayed as a group of 4 people. Rooms 7&8. Be aware walls are paper thin, shower taps dripped all night, reception had to be contacted to get TV to work. Cleanliness of both rooms not up to standard, heavily loaded cobwebs in an area which is really visible in the room, beds not overly comfortable!! Definitely over priced accom out...

Great grounds friendly reception BUT the rooms are dated clean but dated. no info re the on-site restaurant so we ate in town. Bed was sagged, TV wiring was dodgy but as my husband is an electrician he managed to manipulate the connection so we could get reception, the shower dripped all night . We should have suspected an issue...

We stayed two nights here for a quick break away. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, good location close to town. Set amongst lovely green hills- nice spot. Restaurant only open weekends so we didn't get to try it. Overall, good value- rooms in need of an update. Basic amenities. Walls are paper thin- could hear every word from our...

funkyshopper. Thank you for your feedback and we are indeed fortunate to be located in such a lovely area. Maintaining the "lodge feel" with the timber panelling and doors is sometimes a balancing act between the "style of the day" and the "modern expectations". Still we are happy that you enjoyed your time here and hope you fare well. Rob...

Group of 12 visited for a mid year Christmas party. Checked in to find that 2 of our rooms had not been cleaned. After apologies from manager 2 more rooms were found. Great setting in dining room. Open fire with Christmas decorations and great bar service. Christmas menu was to include soup. Main meal was brought out and quickly taken...

We enjoyed a single night out in Bellingen with friends and as three couples, we all pre-booked into this motel. I've stayed here before quite a few years ago for business and was not aware of the rates but at $239 for one night without breakfast, these are capital city rates. To be fair, accommodation is quite limited in Bellingen...

The rooms are very comfortable, friendly staff and great views. Would stay again longer as it is a place you can sit and relax with a glass of wine. We had a great room service breakfast (was not charged a delivery fee). The gardens are just divine ideal setting for a wedding.
