The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I left my sunglasses behind they even posted them to me. Now that is great service. The food in the bistro was excellent. Loved the welcome feeling at the Federal Hotel during Camp Creative. Would thoroughly recommend the Federal.

I'm a sucker for old pubs and this one is probably one of the nicest I've stayed in, the interior balcony got me. It a real shame they've modernised the bathroom, it's now bland and well just can't cater to more than one person at time. I don't understand why pub owners do this. The older bathrooms are usually very...

Only place open in bellingen. People queuing to place dinner orders...had to wait for an hour for it to settle, then the dish was wiped off the blackboard ! Ended up with tempura prawns and garlic bread...nice, sat by the fire. Don't go there easter weekend...

The hotel was tastefully restored as well as the whole town .Enjoyed the ambience of the dining area & the meals. The staff were friendly and the meals enjoyable and reasonably priced. The only downside was the parking.

I ordered the pork sirloin the other night and it was undoubtedly the best pork I have ever eaten. It just dissolved in my mouth, which was lucky as the serving was huge and I would have exhausted myself if I had to have chewed it. The only reason this meal didn't rate five stars was that the veges were...

We really wanted to love this place but it seriously needs a good clean. We would suggest starting with the floor in the main bar. White vinegar would do the trick....at least a gallon once week. The deck outside would probably benefit too. Frankly the place is smelly.....not awful smelly but slightly stinky. It deserves better. The food is good...

A pity this hotel doesn't appear in the restaurant section because the food here is sensational! I agree with a previous reviewer that this is the best pub food around and the menu is extensive; it's really hard to choose from so many tasty sounding choices. We were a couple and both opted for seafood specials: both dishes were very...

We stumbled across the Fed while exploring the back streets of Bello for the first time, liking the look of their beer-garden decking. Extensive menu catering for starters, mains, GFs & vegos. We started off with the satay skewers and spicy calamari which were both delicious. We decided to have a big break between entree & mains, which is totally...
