A diamond just out of the centre of Collie, an old coal mining town! Stayed overnight in this gem of a place, with Wanda our hostess - the loveliest person. Delicious home-baked afternoon tea waiting for us, lovely grounds to wander around & the chance to meet some of the horses, admire the peacock - AND pet the very well...

We stayed three nights at Whispering Pines and cannot speak too highly of it. Wanda welcomed us warmly and spoiled us with home baked goodies throughout our stay. The three-course dinner that Wanda served us on our first night was OUTSTANDING. The packed lunches for Bibbulmun Track walkers were delicious and fueled the many kilometers walked each day. The rooms...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a quick getaway for our wedding anniversary. Most relaxing, comfortable and chilled time we have had for a long time. When we checked in, Wanda welcomed us (aswell as her beautiful dogs) and showed us to our room (which was the 4 post bed/ treetop) there was already some baked...

We enjoyed one very comfortable night at Whispering Pines. We chose the upstairs room with a four poster bed, it's a large room, with everything you could possible require supplied. There was home made cake for afternoon on arrival which we enjoyed on our balcony overlooking a lovely garden with a huge variety of bird-attracting plants & trees, perfect after...

This place is wonderful. Such fantastic hospitality- they've really thought of everything! Beautiful room, beautiful surrounds, lovely country hospitality! From the soft robes to the little cakes and cognac left in the room, they just go that extra mile. Highly recommended!

We had the upstairs room complete with ensuite, balcony and kitchenette overlooking pristine gardens and luscious green paddocks. It was a beautiful first trip with our baby girl whom was catered for with a port-a-cot, serene atmosphere and cuddles with Wanda! The owners, Wanda and John are lovely people, who were flexible and accommodated our needs perfectly. Whether you're after...

We spent one night at this wonderful bed and breakfast for a mini break. We stayed in the treetops room, which was amazing! Beautiful views over the pretty garden and a quaint little veranda. The added touches were fab-Tim tams, chocolates, fruit and port! We had an evening meal which was home made and delicious! Very reasonably priced for the...

With our original accommodation canceled at short notice we were desperate to find somewhere in Collie that offered a bit more than just a hotel. We are so glad we found Whispering Pines as it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. Shannon was our very welcoming host and made us feel right at home immediately. The...

A hidden gem of a B & B in tucked away in a town which probably doesn't get too many tourists. It has a very homely feel and my kids absolutely loved it, both the house itself and playing with the dogs and helping with feeding the horse. Thank you Wanda for a really enjoyable stay, it was worth the...
