Spent a night here on our way down through WA and found it to be reasonable accommodation witching expectations. It's pretty basic and you won't be able to cook much (communal BBQ aside which we didn't try out) but has everything else you need. Nice balcony/ porch to sit and watch the sunset. Only big negative for us was finding... More

We have just spent a wonderful 10 days at shark bay cottages our best holiday yet!! Thank you so much Amanda we had a fabulous time. With 5 children it's hard to find some where roomy enough. Stayed here for one night as we travelled up the WA coast, wish we had had more time!! Was a great friendly and relaxed feeling from the minute we arrived. The cottages have a spectacular view of the sea and a real beach shack feel about them that just instantly puts you in holiday mode. :) Amanda the girl who... More

Stayed at Shark Bay Holiday Cottages on 2 August 2016 and paid $100 for two people in a cottage with a double bed, private bathroom, towels, bed linen, TV, fridge, heater, and kitchen items included. Shared outdoor bbqs are available for cooking. Parking available next to each cottage. A supermarket is next door and it's only a short walk to... More

Wow- the service we received here was second to none. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and nothing was an issue. The cottages are very old but just perfect for a little beach shack. Location perfect. Thank you so much for your impeccable service.

We expected "rustic" but the "cottage" was simply awful. Furniture was old and torn. Walls had unpainted patches. Windows were caked in dirt, would not open and the back bedroom overlooked a mini-tip. Blinds were missing panels. It was overrun with thousands of cockroaches. To top it off, our daughter came out in a red itchy rash on her feet... More

Great location right on the beach but cottages are very basic. Normally this isn't a problem but unfortunately the beds were terrible. All beds were very old and extremely uncomfortable. We stayed in both the 2 bed cottage and the 3 bed cottage. All beds in both cottages were terrible and old. The couches and chairs were very uncomfortable as... More

Stayed for 4 nights with our two sons aged 10 and 7 years. Location is great, walking distance to everything in town and across the road from the water. We stayed in a beachfront cottage which had a nice view of the water. The shack is very basic and we were expecting that. However some basic care would add to... More

A group of 8 of us stayed in one of the cottages for 5 nights. Throughout our stay the shower was cold and there was no water pressure. The oven lighter also did not work, we had to pull apart the oven and use a serviette to light it. The walls that separate the cottages are also paper thin and... More

I stay here with my dogs and was very welcomed. It is basic accommodation but it is comfortable and the location is magic. Staff are friendly and helpful and I am keen to come back. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

“Ask for a cottage that is detached, as some are semi-detached and therefore prone to neighbour noise. Also worth asking for a seafront cottage, though these are mostly one bedroom.”
