The hotel rooms are fairly basic but given that you spend most of your time exploring the island and lying on the beautiful beaches that's not a problem. The main issue is price. With limited accommodation on Rottnest and high demand, the prices are OTT based on the standard of accommodation. Everything was clean and the rooms were well equipped....

Enjoyed our 3 night stay. Great location. Friendly staff. A bit expensive for the size of the rooms and no breakfast included. Good service - check bags in at Fremantle for ferry and they are delivered to hotel. Same on return - gave bags to reception and picked them up back at wharf in Fremantle.

Great location but extremely over priced for what you get! For $300 plus dollars the room was extremely basic. Reception was friendly and was kind enough to take us to our room. Would only recommend if nowhere else is available.

How is a rodent allowed into a restaurant defacating all over the floor where food is being served. Food was ordinary also, fish of the day was a soup fish and the meat was brown. Staff weren't that interested and it is expensive

Had a lovely two night stay here! Nice clean spacious room with a nice comfy bed. The only down side was the duvet didn't seem to be well covered! The location is perfect and the bar and restaurant is great at this hotel! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Planned a day trip across to Rottnest with family who had travelled over from Melbourne (roughly 20ppl) and we decided to have lunch at Hotel Rottnest. We were served by extremely rude staff the entire time and I was embarrassed we had taken our visitors there. Other customers were also making similar comments to our group. Wont be going back...

Weather your drinking/dining inside our out, it's the view here that captivates your attention a good deal of the time. This extended Hotel does a great job at catering to young and old with a variety of Bar/service areas. Very family friendly here. Service I experienced was polite and quick. My last visit of 25+ years ago still reasonably familiar.

Well the fact that our room overlooked the beach and the water was the only plus! A very expensive night in a very average room. A very tiered property, service lacklustre, not even a breakfast on offer. Price would have indicated 5 star when in fact this room just scraped in to 3 stars.

Having never attended a concert at Rottnest Hotel, I was so excited about going over to see John Farnham and Darryl Braithwaite on Sunday 12 March. Who organised this totally un-organised event??? 3 ladies toilets for an expected 3,000 people. People drunk everywhere, so obviously no close vigilance on people who were severely under the influence of alcohol continuing to...

Rude staff dampened what had started out a brilliant day. Unfortunately there are few places to eat and we were so hungry we didn't want to chance anywhere else. Have been here countless times and so disappointed to see the decline in customer service. Food still good, scenery always spectacular, surly service staff a turn off!
