Rottnest is expensive for a short stay however once you get past that you will enjoy its charm. Pre-order your bikes from the fast ferry company so you're all sorted on arrival. The beauty of hotel Rottnest is that it's a 2 min bike ride down from the jetty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to...

The hotel Rottnest is the fanciest accommodation on this small and beautiful island. We had a bay view room and the view was the best thing about this room. The walls were paper thin so we had to listen to the neighbors as they opened up their tv and rather loud conversations very early in the morning. Not what we...

Have just spent 2 nights on magical Rottnest and stayed at Hotel Rottnest. The location couldn't be better- right on Thompson's Bay, a short stroll from the ferry, supermarket, visitor centre and bike hire. It also runs a fabulous beachfront bar and restaurant and the food was great both times I ate there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The...

I have stayed at the Rottnest Lodge in the Lake View Rooms many times and have enjoyed it very much. On this visit, it being quiet and the winter months I decided to try the hotel, also certain sites were giving it a higher rating than The Lodge. Firstly the hotel has no proper reception area, they are using a...

Ate here for 2 days during our stay. Me and my partner liked the veal osso bucco and the fallen ice cream! Love the ambiance and the quokkas that loiters outside the restaurant. Just watch out for the seagulls and peacock as they can get aggresive. Would be better if they have different menus or specials everyday.

Stayed for 2 nights, Thursday to Saturday and it was a lovely room immaculately clean, comfortable bed, nice big tv and new bathroom. The only regret we have is we didn't book a water view room as we didn't know they had them until we got there! Next time though we will. Food at the pub was average though and...

Over the past week I have visited the hotel a few times. Once to watch the Eagles match, once for a quiet lunch with my husband and once for a meal with family in tow. Perfect venue on all occasions. The food is good, the staff are fantastic and where else do you get to share the dining experience with...

A group of families dined at Hotel Rottest (pub) only to experience a litany of mistakes ranging from including ingredients that can cause an anaphylaxis reaction (ie please hold" the pesto) and surf and turf served without - wait for it- the prawns. The poor waiter realised upon delivery and quickly rushed back to the kitchen to bring back a...

Oh come on!!! We've all been to a eatery where the food was a little over priced, but generally didn't taste to bad. Well this place ain't one of them. Party of 4 on a Sunday night, no where near crowded, so I would have expected decent food as there was no pressure on the kitchen staff. I had the...

Delicious and tender. The others had fish and chips and loved them too. Nice mulled cider too. Great that they have games to play. Spectacular views. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Looking forward to the salted caramel upside down cake for dessert!!
