My wife and I stayed for one night and loved it from the second we parked our car. We were welcomed by the owner and an employee who checked us in and walked us to our cabin. The cabin was spacious and clean, overlooking Lake Champlain. Inside the cabin was a tv, coffee maker, mini fridge and nice king sized...

Went here on a day trip from Vermont, and what an amazing experience it was! It felt like a summer camp getaway around the resort! Nestled on Lake Champlain, the grounds were extremely well manicured and had lovely views all around. We took one of the canoes out on the lake and were able to experience the incredible quite serenity...

The Normandie Beach Club has one major advantage: Location. It is a beautiful place, quite and with great access to the beach. Unfortunately, the infrastructure is in dire shape and needs to be significantly updated. The cottages are ok but outdated. The AC very noisy. The kitchen has only a very small fridge (did not work very well) and a...

WHAT A GORGEOUS PLACE. KIND STAFF AND DELICIOUS FOOD TOO!! Normandie is one of those rare and wonderful places where you can be with nature and have all the amenities at once. You can quietly read by the pool or looking out onto the sparkle of Lake Champlain in a morning breeze. You can see eagles soaring and hear them...

I had mixed emotions as to whether I should post a review or not, but I’m doing so in hopes that someone can benefit regarding their expectations, which I feel is fair. Normandie’s location is wonderful and the property itself is charming. I wasn’t expecting luxury and expected some quirkiness, based on other reviews, and that’s fine. The restaurant is...

Upon checkin we noticed large ants in the kitchen/living area. We reported it to housekeeping and bought our own pack of ant traps when nothing was done. As the week went on the problem increased to infestation level and we were transferred to another room. The second room had spiders and a mouse. Upon early checkout reception was hostile and...

I worked first hand with these guests. They came to me one night saying there were ants in their cottage. We moved them immediately. When I went to the cottage, I found that they had maple syrup which had spilled all over the floor and food all over the garbage area. It was a haven for bugs and other. I...

Me and my family went to Normandie Beach Club July 6th-July 13th and we really didn't know what to think according to the 1-star reviews. Even most of the 5 star had a complaint in them all of them being about the restaurant, such as "The foods not good," "The service is mediocre," I didn't believe any of that when...

Went to summer camp here in 1996 before it turned into a family resort. Place hasn't changed in 20 years. They overcharged and the owners were just as rude now as they were then. And the cafe? That was a little snack bar just like it was at camp when I was 13 years old. Don't stay here

When I read LAWESTPORT's review, I couldn't believe he was talking about Normandie Beach Club. We have been frequenting the Coco Café for several years and have had the pleasure of knowing Molly and Waldemar Kasriels, the owners of Normandie. They could not be more accommodating in tending to the needs of their guests. They are gracious, friendly and most...

You have the wrong people and place, LAWESTPORT. Your review is in no way a reflection of Normandie Beach Club's calibre. You are mistaken as to the bartender's nickname and the personalities of the owners. Please check your own memory for the facts. And please show some respect for older people. Anyone who would refer to an older person the...
