As others have mentioned, this resort is really more like a motel. But it's on the nicer end of motels. We stayed in a standard room, so the renovated deluxe rooms may be ever nicer. On the good side, the room was clean and spacious, with plenty of hot water in the shower. There was also a wide range of...

We want to get a way to a quite spot and we found it. The Hungry Trout Resort is everything people had raved about. Our room was very Adirondack and the restaurant was warm and cozy. The view from our room and the table at the restaurant was breathtaking. The staff at both place treated us like we were celebrities....

Older motel, some rooms totally remodeled, others impeccably maintained. Restaurant and Bar/Pub right next door, in case you don't want to go out after skiing. Great place, no issues, and a view of Whiteface out the window.

This motel was located about 0.5 miles from Whiteface mountain, and I got a great view of the ski trails from my room. It was a simple, quiet place to stay, and very affordable. The room was clean, and had a coffee maker and a small fridge. Wifi worked great, and I also had 4G LTE (Verizon). I'd definitely stay...

We stayed in a new king suit and loved it! The bed was super comfy and the room was clean and very nice. We did the trout pond package and it was the fantastic! Our guide Rachel went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our trip. The restaurant was very busy but we were very impressed with the...

Jerry and his crew are so warm and genuine, and deserve a lot of praise for the attention they give their guests. Our group of five decided to test out the Adirondacks and The Hungry Trout after a tradition of trips to the Maine woods, and our hopes were met and even exceeded … from the choice bird covers and...

I found the room too cramped, dark and not very clean. The radiator had not been cleaned in a while. I would not recommend the hotel or the restaurant. It has the feel of a motel. A microwave would have been a welcome addition as most people who visit the area are hikers, skiers or cyclists.

The view from our table was breathtaking. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was about to have a memorable meal. We came in minutes before closing, but we were treated as if they weren't closing for another 2 hours. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We will be going back.

What a surprise when we opened the door. It was so attractive. Upon further inspection everything was in perfect condition with quality bedding etc. Every convenience was thought out and in working order. We really enjoyed the decorators touch which showed coordination in the room and bath. The accoutrements were functional and unique. It was a pleasure to "hang out...
