The hotel has beautifully furnished and decorated bedrooms with private bathrooms. Our room was on the first floor so we had a private porch though the weather was a bit too cool to use it. There is also a large, very inviting public sitting room. We stayed four nights and spent our time hiking the many Catskill trails and sightseeing. Due to Covid precautions there was no room service but a closet held plenty of towels and other bathroom supplies. The restaurant was closed but breakfast could be ordered the night before and was attractively presented on trays. On our second evening we learned there would be no breakfast the next day as the hostess had appointments, but luckily the Hickory Hill Market stays open until 9:00pm so we were able to buy supplies and have enough for our final morning also. There were coffee and tea supplies in the dining area but no coffee maker in the room. I didn't see one mentioned when we made our reservation so I took my own. We were generally self-sufficient, out all day and enjoying the comfort of our room in the evenings so we rarely saw our hosts, through they could be contacted by phone from the front desk. No other staff were present as it was a quiet time of year. Plenty of choice for dinner at nearby restaurants - we were lucky to be there between the ski season and summer so they were quiet. Some also serve breakfast.…
My wife and I have stayed here twice in the past couple months and we absolutely adore this jewel in the Catskills. Leslie, Marianna, and their son are wonderful hosts and very inviting. They pay extra attention to the safety of their guests and ensure a pristine, clean environment. The rooms are immaculate, and the property itself is delightful. Many have commented on how scrumptious the breakfast menus items are, and we echo those positive comments. It is a highlight of the stay. Whether you are looking to sip a glass of wine at sunset, take a nature walk through the Windham Path, or explore some amazing waterfalls, mark this as the place to stay in the area! We can’t wait to go back. : )
We took our nephew and a friend to Windham and Hunter skiing and stayed in the Cottage associated with the Albergo Allegria hotel. It was lovely, the rooms were big as were the bathrooms and the common area was great with couches, big table fridge microwave and coffee maker. The owners Lenore and Vito were gracious and went out of their way to be helpful Pics of the view from the kitchen area and the common area
My wife and I stayed one night at the Albergo and it was great from check in to check out. We stayed in room December 12 and it was a cute room. The only one thing I would have to say about the room was the shower pressure was very weak.
This hotel is amazing! Highly recommend this perfect B&B. My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying here over a long weekend in January 2021. The location is just 2 minutes down the road from Windham mountain, and central to nearby restaurants and bars! The room was clean, thoughtfully furnished and the service was outstanding. Not to mention, they serve some of the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel hands down! 10/10 experience overall. Will be back!
