This was our first visit to the Catskills and to Windham, In Windham we had lots of choice of accommodation. Once inside the front door we knew that however good the other places they could not have been better than Albergo Allegria. Everything was superlative from the attention we received to the wonderful home which was full of genuine charm....

My husband and I have stayed at Albergo Allegria twice now. We recently stayed in the Autumn Room. We really enjoy this inn. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very nice and helpful. I particularly like that they have a pantry so that you can get coffee, tea, other beverages and a small snack whenever you want. Please...

This was our last night of a three week travelling holiday and we were pretty jaded but as soon as we were shown our room in the sperate building to the main house we felt delighted. The bed was huge, there was a lovely big TV, a scrummy large jacuzzi complete with candles and a lovely front personal porch. I...

My boyfriend and I rang up late in the e evening looking for accommodations for a last minute trip to the Catskills. From the moment the innkeeper answered the phone, they made everything super easy and comfortable. We arrived late and tired to a delightful room: spacious, clean and charming. Hardwood floors throughout the building. Comfortable beds and sheets, even...

We just had the most wonderful stay at the Albergo Allegria! The accomodation, service and food were EXCELLENT! We can't wait to go back. The hosts were also very helpful in giving us information about the town's restaurants and hiking trails.

We couldn't find a better place. Nice and comfortable room. Large and well supplied bathroom. Large screen Cable TV. All at the low price of $ 119.00 per day !! One of the best breakfast we had in any hotel around the world. High quality ingredients, fresh and well presented. Impeccable service. This is a comfortable, casual and friendly place...

I can confirm the other reviews. What separates this establishment from many others is the owners' attention to their business and their customers. I would definitely stay here again. By the way, if you stay here in the summer and you are in to adventure sports, I recommend renting a bike from the bike shop across the street and asking...

Hospitable, comfortable, like being welcomed into a family home; fresh cookies at tea-time and the most delicious breakfast I've had at a hotel ever. All the food is local and from local farms, sustainably raised, organically produced. The staff is so nice and accommodating; and there was even s'mores night one night out by a campfire for all the B&B...

The inn's owners, preparing for their property's 30th anniversary celebration during our stay, demonstrated what experience and caring about customer service can do to make one's visit one of perfection. To add to the many accurate 5-star reviews here, let me note of my request for a gluten-free breakfast option: Unlike so many places that give 'lip-service' only to special...
