This was the second year we stayed at The Thompson House with the group of 55+ Ski Club members. We were delighted to have the same room we had last year. It is very large and we thoroughly enjoyed the king size bed. Our group loves to meet in the common room with a beautiful fireplace and comfortable seating areas.... More

As always it was a pleasure to have you and your group stay with us. We're glad you enjoyed your room, our lobby and breakfast. Our homemade granola is a favorite breakfast item for our guests. Being close to Windham Mountain is nice and we hope you were able to enjoy the view of the mountain from your room. We... More

I needed a go-to hotel in the Windham area, where the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms is consistent and predictable. In the summer, Thompson house is a lovely resort with a full restaurant (for guests only with a meal plan) and a very nice pool. In the winter the restaurant and pool are not open. For skier families the... More

We've stayed at this inn for our ski vacations two years in a row, and intend on revisiting again next year. The rooms are comfortable, clean and large. The inn keeper very helpful and friendly. Upon check in I explained that my son had been car sick and was given detailed information on the laundromat, and upon checkout he remembered... More

I do my own day and weekend ski trips to the Catskills and Vermont, but every Christmas for the last couple of years, I take my mom up there for a family ski trip. She didn't want a bed and breakfast, inn type thing... (feels more comfortable in a regular hotel setting). And so we chose the Evergreen at the... More

We love staying at the Evergreen at the Thompson House whenever we ski at Windham Mountain. It's a lovely family run establishment only 5 minutes away from the mountain. The rooms are large and comfortable, with a large open closet area for your ski equipment and clothing. They serve a nice continental breakfast in the main room in the mornings,... More

Overall the stay was great. After a day of skiing we could spread out easily to relax. The breakfast consisted of cold cereals, muffins, bagels, and toast with yogurt cups and fruit. Homemade granola was a nice touch. Hunter mountain is about twenty minutes away but Windham is only a few minutes drive. If we are in the area again... More

Our PA ski group has stayed at The Thompson House each February for many years. We love the staff, the "great room," and the accommodations. The nearby golf course allows for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing as well as some great photos. Windham Mountain Ski area is very close.

The Thompson House was a nice place to stay for our family of 4. The rooms are quite spacious, although dated.
