We stayed at the Retreat at TreeGap in the middle of a fall trip in the North East. The property was easy to locate, and our host was communicative and friendly. We found our place all ready for our stay when we arrived. Two dogs greeted us with friendly barks but kept their distance. Our quarters were the perfect balance...

Truly a hidden gem.  I'm afraid to post an accurate review, and let everyone know how great this place is.  Relaxing in the treetops but close to town. Just what was needed for a weekend getaway.  The online photos do not do it justice. I will return for sure.

This is a great place for a relaxing getaway. There are two options, one is a room inside the main house, and then there is a separate building next to the house. I stayed in the room inside the house. The house is a beautiful wood home. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfy. This room has a covered...

Our first trip to woodstock and staying here just made it all the more enjoyable. The room we stayed in was huge, peaceful, and luxurious. I wish this my actual bedroom- i dont think id ever leave the private, covered porch. Friendly animals and owner. Only thing is i wish i was a little more specific on what i wanted...

My husband and I just returned from our stay at tree gap b&b. Where can one start when trying to describe a place as enjoyable and lovely as this place. I will start with the proprietor Megan, a very kind and attentive hostess and a creator of excellent breakfasts . We stayed in the white pines suite upstairs in the...

This was by far one of the the best B and B experience that my wife and I have had.. A perfect setting away from the town up a long winding road, the home is a peaceful retreat, Great for a romantic getaway! We stayed in the home, not the carriage house. The bedroom/suite is huge with a comfortable king...

Great room, great breakfast, great surroundings, and a great host. What more can you ask for? My Wife and I came here for valentines weekend. After leaving a hectic workweek and hustle and bustle of the city behind we were transported to an amazing weekend in Woodstock NY. Meghan is an amazing host and makes every effort to accommodate her...

We stayed in the White Pines Suite (the sole room in the main house - note there are only two rooms at this B&B, the other one being in the separate "carriage house"). This B&B is a superb find - (a) the White Pines Suite is extremely comfortable - a huge room, quality furniture and bedding; good temperature and light...

Fine B&B just outside of Woodstock on a lovely private property in the historic Byrdcliffe area. My son and I stayed in the carriage house after a day hiking in the Catskills. Place was extremely comfortable and the grounds are magnificent. Breakfast was of the vegetarian variety. Meagan was extremely accommodating. Great place to stay in Woodstock!!

Retreat at TreeGap is gem! My husband, 11-year-old son and I stayed in the Carriage House 8/15-8/16 and could not have asked for a more peaceful respite. Megan is a gracious hostess and a skilled cook who easily accommodated my husband's gluten and dairy free diet. Moreover, we'd had some concerns about my husband's allergy to cats, but there were...

“We love the Coach House - separate from the house, maybe a little less fancy than the White Pines room, but less expensive too. If you are traveling with kids, Coach House gives you more sleeping room and privacy (it has a double futon as well as a King bed).”
