A colleague and I stayed here while working at a football game in Boone. It was fine for two people, especially when the hotels in Boone were ridiculously high because of the game. The only negatives were the access to the loft was a pull down ladder located in the bedroom below. The ladder was noisy when used and would...

Stayed at the Nuthouse...it was so clean and cozy. We were 4 friends and it was very comfortable...rustic and lovely. Alfredo was very accomodating and we made friends with their dogs who came up to the cottage to greet us in the morning. I would recommend VC Farm to all...

Great location, reasonable rates, quaint lodging with super friendly hospitality and all the property is at your disposal to play. The Bear cabin is small but easily sleeps a family of 6. Kids loved the loft. We spent our days exploring the beautiful North Carolina Mountains and our late evenings playing in the creek at Valle Crucis Farm and sleeping...

We loved staying at the Nut House! Hope to bring my friends back soon. The room was cozy and very charming. We went hiking to the waterfall and up to the Solitude Cabin. I would definitely come back again.

My children LOVED the loft upstairs and waking up to the owners friendly dogs on our porch! Such a pleasure dealing with the owner, I have already spread the...

This adorable cabin was the perfect fit for my husband and I and our chocolate lab. Warm and cozy on a chilly December night. We were a last minute booking and the owners were gracious to take care of us, even though they were busy celebrating the kids being out of school for Christmas. The cabin has everything necessary for...

Its was totally great and perfect. We will stay there possibly on our honeymoon and any chance we can get away for a day or 2. The owners were wonderful people. The 2 dogs they have are so friendly and just loved the whole atmosphere. Thanks again.

We went for a business trip but from time to time we mix it with some pleasure. My hubby surprised me with this cabin. The "nut house" was perfect, a bit up the hill to walk but we needed the exercise. The Sosa's were great and we made two cute friends Tulip and Miley. Who greeted us each morning with...

We were looking around for cabins near Grand father mountains and this one came accidentally (thanks to Google !!)..From the photos posted by earlier visitors we decided to take a chance with the cabin and we selected Nut house. We were two couples and nut house was just perfect for us. We reached a little early and owners allowed us...

“Both the Bear Cabin and the Nut House are amazing. It seemed to me that there is a bit more room in the Bear Cabin, but either is great! For school aged kids, the Bear has a great loft! My son still chose to sleep downstairs on the futon.”

“Our mistake was renting the cabin for just 1 night. It is a very beautiful, pleasant, clean, quiet, comfortable, and unique place to stay. Next time we are going back for a long weekend and plan to explore the VC Farm itself.”
