This was the second year my husband and I have stayed at The Pinnacle Inn over the winter holidays. This year we really lucked up with the room!! We chose it online but were very impressed. It had been newly remodeled ( to my knowledge each condo is owned by individuals). We had a great view of the slopes!! Enjoyed...

The Pinnacle Inn is an awesome retreat on top of a tall (for the eastern US) mountain. The condos are individually owned so the decoration is unique to each one. When checking in ask about the view you want (ski slope, Grandfather Mountain, other). If you want cozy and can climb a few stairs unit 4306 is a 3rd floor...

We stayed here twenty years ago and it's only gotten worse with age. Take advice of other reviewers and check your room before you check in. It felt like a scene from the Exorsist with all the dead flies on the windowsill and it was cold January! Dirty towels from previous guests were left hanging on curtains. Because the resort...

Do not expect the service and consistency of one The unit you rent might be in good shape with many add-ons, because the owners go there frequently, or not. The service/reception was very courteous and our unit was clean and had a good setup.

With a little help this place could really hit it out of the park. It has beautiful views, great location, easy parking, nice amenities. Why not go the extra mile on some decent toilet paper and towel. A few extra garbage bags and an extra roll of paper towels. That would have really made a difference. It does need a...

My family and I (now our grandkids) have been staying at the Pinnacle for years, dating back to when it was fairly new. The pluses are: great location high up on the mountain, easy to find and park your car, extra amenities during warm weather such as shuffleboard, a playground, putt-putt golf, BBQ locations, nicely landscaped, indoor pool and hot...

we stayed here to be close to the autumn at oz party. we stayed in unit 1305, which the owner has obviously put a lot of effort into renovating. it was a very nice and upscale condo. the complex as a whole is showing its age, the paint is peeling from the buildings and the pool/game room could stand to...

I have stayed at the Pinnacle Inn a few times, and it is always a nice getaway. The buildings are older (not sure when it was built, but my first visit was 24 years ago, and it wasn't new then), but the condos are set up nicely. The size of the condos range from a moderately sized studio up to...

The greatest of views. Problem is the cleaning crew stole my wife's IPhone and The Pinnacle Inn refuses to respond to 5 emails. A stone throw away from the Blue Ridge Parkway with many great hiking trails. Beech Mountain is striving to develop hiking trails but have yet to reach adequacy. Hopefully in the future they will.

To say that I'm familiar with the Pinnacle would be an understatement. My parents took me every summer for at least a month stay for 12 years. When I had the chance to take my 2 boys, I was so thrilled! The scenery was breathtaking, just as I remembered. The pool was a blast as always. My 3 yr old...
