The hotel was pretty good for the rate. The bathroom was a little dirty, and there were major problems with drainage (The toilet and especially the bathtub/shower). The water pressure, in the bathtub/shower, was pretty low, and the shower head was placed low, so taller people may have to slouch down to wet their heads. The light above the sink...

Best part was the creek and bridge over to the Mexican restaurant which was excellent. Evening staff was very friendly but the morning staff which I think was actually the owner was not so friendly. Kind of curt. Room, was a little run down. Coffee maker was set up on,the bureau without an outlet close enough to plug it into! Had...

It is a great setting near a scenic Creek and close to an excellent Mexican restaurant. The property is old and tired, but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Clean, well kept inside and outside, comfortable, no problems. Mexican restaurant next door. This motel was about $89.00 per night and for that price it was better than expected.Yes you can get more for paying more but this motel was much better than most in that price range and better than one we stayed at two nights later for $129.00...

Only positive about this Super 8 was check in, friendly and efficient. However room was dart and dingy, further ancient and scraped. Only electrical sockets which worked were ones with extension cords with so many lamps and appliances in one socket as to be a fire hazard. The last straw was breakfast. In an attempt to scrimp on expenses in...

Just before the busy-neas of Asheville (or just after if heading east) is this older Super 8. Located off the road a bit, in a quiet location. It was clean but warn-looking. Linens on bed did not fit well and had to be refitted. Mattress pad did not add to sleeping comfort. Breakfast was enjoyable but limited in choices. Very...

The owner kicked us out because the waffle maker did not work and we complained about it. The water was cold for showers and the mattresses smelled and are very old. The towels were dirty. They did not wash them for two days. Was placed next to a room with three barking dogs and the owner refused to move me....

Very limited options in Black Mountain -- this hotel was terrible. The people there are friendly and great. The property was awful. We will stay in Asheville from now on.
