My wife and I stopped off at this quaint little inn in Blowing Rock, NC. We were going tent camping for the weekend, however, during the drive up the mountain, the rain was unrelenting. We even had to pull over once due to not being able to see the road. I remembered this place because we had stayed there before....

This is just the greatest little inn we have ever visited. It is older but updated nicely, very quaint and charming. The owners treat you like family. A big plus with us, it is pet friendly. Rooms are individually decorated and spotlessly clean, no stale odors. We plan to return for a few days next summer. If in Blowing Rock,...

We've stayed in a lot of roadside Ma and Pa motels and this is among the very best. Very reasonable rates for top quality in its class and location in Blowing Rock. Just a short walk to downtown, with totally remodeled and tastefully and creatively decorated rooms, with a beautifully maintained garden and grass you can sink your bare toes...

I was welcomed by Katherine to this charming Inn off the Blue Ridge Parkway. She gave me dinner and breakfast recommendations that turned out to be great. Charles and I chatted the next morning about our travels. He's into Harleys and golf. There were new tiled floors in the bathroom and hard wood floors in the room. Comfy and quiet...

My wife & I decided on the spur of the moment to go to Blowing Rock overnight. The place we usually stay was in an area where road construction made it a hassle to stay at, so I selected a new location based on price & location and that they were pet friendly, the Alpine Village Inn. Good decision. I...

Katherine and Charles are the kindest owners we have ever encountered as this says a lot. Prior to the birth of our two year old daughter, my husband and I would travel the lower 48 on a regular basis. We have driven to Alaska a few occasions as well. We decided to go to Blowing Rock for a last minute...

We actually stayed here a few years ago and it's better now than then with wood floor instead of carpet and more updated decor. You can't beat the location and the price, so we kinda get stuck staying here. I mean, it's an OK place for a night - the rooms are small, the bathroom is super tiny and the...

We have stayed at the Alpine Village Inn many times. The rooms make you feel like you are at home. Super clean and comfortable!! I absolutely love this place. The innkeepers are super nice. You are within walking distance of all the shopping, parks, and restaurants of downtown Blowing Rock. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
