We have stayed in lots of historic hotels and bed and breakfasts. We were excited to stay in this one. We were so disappointed!! The hotel is tired and needs repair. The included breakfast food was OK, but with only one waiter for the whole...More

Pet friendly....but rules were not enforced when we stayed. Dogs (large) were barking at night and loitering in lobby and hallways most of the evening. I don't mind dogs, if they are quiet and not noticeable.

However, we have just been in touch with both, and neither have opened for the season yet. They suggested trying to find golf courses in Lenoir at this time of year.
