Very comfortable and quiet, fantastic views, relaxing. Beautiful, classic bathrooms. The breakfast was good, not great, but I'm not complaining. All in all, well worth the high price. We will be back.

VERY amazing weekend getaway with my fiance. The attention to detail was amazing from the wonderful Inn Keeper Ms Anne whom greeted us upon arriving after 8pm and giving us a quick tour of the grounds and fresh ice for our room and her service the following day for Breakfast. The nightly turn-down was a treat w the little cookies...

I stayed at The Gideon Ridge November 4-6 and shared The Grandfather View Suite with one of my friends. We loved this room and mentioned that the staff/ owners had thought of all the little things that make for a pleasant stay. There were plenty of pillows, with non feather included, which was nice due to feather allergies. The towels...

We had a great time. The view, the atmosphere, the beds, the rooms, the breakfasts.........were all so nice. The service was also excellent, and the staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend the Gideon Ridge Inn.

My husband and I spent one night at Gideon Ridge and really enjoyed it! We arrived on a sunny friday afternoon at 5pm and after a brief tour of the house by sweet Katie, we quickly dashed out to the back porch to enjoy the last bit of sunshine with a nice glass of wine. First tweak: I realize it...

My husband booked us reservations at Gideon Ridge for us for our anniversary. We don't get to travel by ourselves very often (2 kids, 4 dogs, 2 cats) so it was a long anticipated trip! Our stay at Gideon Ridge was absolutely perfect. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, the Cedar Cottage Suite was cozy and comfortable and...

We Had a delightful four night stay at the inn in October and enjoyed it immensely. The staff was just wonderful and the peace and quiet was just what we needed. The fireplace was an added treat. We enjoyed having a glass of wine with the other guests in the parlor.

Beautiful view and nice home. Everything is just OK but when you pay this much money for a bed and a breakfast you expect something special. You expect something special at breakfast and for the management to treat you like their first guest. This B & B is missing that treatment. You can tell a B & B that the...

Every year, there is a group of friends that visit a B & B. 10 Years ago, we had a wonderful experience at Gideon Ridge in Blowing Rock. We decided to return. First Wrong Decision! The hospitality was lacking, Horrid conditions in the basement rec room (water leaking and smelling), breakfast was just average, Bees in the room. I normally...

Always such a beautiful and wonderful place to visit. The staff is always so nice and the place so well kept. The views are breathtaking. My husband and I always spend as much time as we can on the terrace reading... and of course it's a very short drive from downtown Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
