The rooms are clean and are newly remodeled. The innkeepers are there to help in any way. I loved the fireplace. The motel is In walking distance from downtown blowing rock. I would recommend this motel due to its location and cleanliness.

Stayed the night before Thanksgiving, unexpectedly, so needed to bring my dogs, which I never do. Love the old motel style room but with the total upgrade of a much higher priced establishment. Very smartly designed, bright, cheerful, and important, in keeping with the mountain cabin type style you hope for in the high country. The staff was warm and...

Have stayed at the Homestead Inn many times. Best place in Blowing Rock. Best described as an older motel that has been renovated into a warm, cozy, quaint place to stay. The rooms have been completely renovated and greatly maintained over the years. Wonderfully cozy beds with great linens. Be sure to get a room with fireplace. Well worth the...

The location is perfect, just off Main Street. Easy walking distance to everything we love in this quaint town. The Inn is very well maintained with helpful staff. Our room (5) was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The Inn is pet friendly and although we too are pet friendly; sometimes hesitate to stay in P.F. rooms due to bad experiences....

This happened to be the only available Inn for the weekend we needed. OMG!!! So glad it was!! The Inn was awesome, the innkeepers were awesome, the location was perfect, and to top it off...we got snow. Woke up to a winter wonderland. The room was exactly what we wanted, clean and charming!! Can't say enough about how much we...

My wife and I went to this hotel never having gone before to this area. The hotel was an older hotel that had been redone by the owners. They have done an excellent job. Since the hotel was older it was not a lot of space BUT the owners have maximized the space in each room and have given attention...

We just returned from a three night visit at a cute little inn in the heart of the NC mountains. The Homestead Inn is a half block from this charming village right on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We took out two dogs with us and it was perfect. The Inn is like a 50's motel with a sweet courtyard that...

I happened in on a whim and am glad I did. Old school motel design but updated, charming, clean, comfy and VERY convenient. The rooms are not expansive, nor are they expensive which was surprising when considering its in Blowing Rock and barely 100 yards from downtown BR. the owners are very accommodating and nice. If you have trouble with...

First time in Blowing Rock. We were just driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped in Blowing Rock for the night. We called and Caroline told us that she had vacancies and that she would discount the king suite because it was soo late. Actually it was only 8ish, but who am I to argue against a discount. The room...

The best part is the very helpful owners. Robert noted my almost flat tire, and had an air compressor, and inflated the tire, all the while chatting like we were best friends. This is an older motel that is kept up like a new place. It is freshly painted, and and has grounds well cared for with flowers all around,...
