Beautiful flowers, birds all in the courtyard. Very close to old downtown area so you can leave your car at the inn. The owners were exceptionally nice and helpful with lots of yummy teas, coco, coffee and things in the office for you. We needed an extension cord as we were both using our computers and they found one for us asap. The room...

Small, family-owned property is just a block away from all of Blowing Rock's great shopping and dining. We stopped here a few years ago and this time back we found continued investment in the property. Our room had a new bathroom. This time we came via motorcycle and a nice touch was when we came out of the room in...

We were a bit worried about our stay here after reading some of the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. It is not a hotel chain, it is a unique well located and maintained alternative. The room had everything we needed, the Internet was fine and the bed was comfortable. If you are there on the weekend get a fabulous...

My wife and I recently took a three day anniversary trip to Blowing Rock. We wanted to stay as close as possible to downtown so we could walk out to breakfast, do a little shopping and possibly venture out again in the evening for dinner. We spent middays doing things out of town, hiking and sight seeing. Homestead Inn proved...

A very nice room at a very reasonable price. The innkeepers clearly take a lot of pride in their place. Outdoors is bounteous with flowers and places to perch and enjoy the cool mountain air. Our room, with two double beds, with spacious enough. The bathrooms have been remodeled and boast a great shower/jacuzzi bath. We ate our breakfasts and...

My husband & I wanted an easy get-away in the Blowing Rock area, and we landed at The Homestead Inn. It was a lovely experience! Our room was cozy with a gas fireplace and a rustic feel. The room was very clean; the bathroom was updated. This is a family-run inn. All lodgings in downtown Blowing Rock are small, family...

We were very impressed by all of the staff! They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The 2 rooms we had were both comfortable and very clean. The jetted tubs were welcome after hikes. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Thanks! We will be back!

My husband and I just returned from our first vacation in Blowing Rock and stayed 5 nights at the Homestead Inn. We stayed in a king room with a fire place, double jacuzzi, and kitchenette for the first 4 nights and a smaller king room the 5th night. Both rooms were very cozy and cute! Feels more like a bed...
