We stayed in the Chestnut cabin and were pleased with our accommodations. Family of five and we were comfortable for our two night stay. The shower in the cabin was tiny, but that was really the only gripe we had. Would return and recommend.

We came in for an afternoon of tubing. We were pleasantly surprised to find an adventurous tubing experience at devils dip. Refreshingly cold creek with the beauty of a waterfall. A must do in the area. Did not camp, but the place was well maintained and tube rentals were very affordable.

We rented a tent campsite here with our 7 kids (ages 11 months to 13 years). It was so fantastic. We stayed 3 nights. One day we rented tubes (very reasonably priced). It's also an easy drive to Newfound Gap and other hiking trails. We took our guys to Chimney tops. The staff at the campground were very friendly. There...

BEAUTIFUL nature ....stream.......campfire. SHOWERS totally inadequate ! FIRST TOO SMALL! No provisions to hold your soap and or shampoo or anything else in the shower. The exhaust fan totally effective. The sink has no hot or cold just "water". Sink runs THREE SECONDS pre PUSH of the valve....a pain in the shorts when trying to use it.....No place to set...

What a great little campground! Very nicely laid out with nice sites. Camper/RV sites are mainly small stone but worked out nicely for the one day of rain we had. No water pooled anywhere. Half the sites run along the river which if you're lucky enough to get one its just amazing. We would fall asleep most nights with the...

Labor day week is when my wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary. Having recently purchased a pop up camper we headed to Bryson City. We're not totally unfamiliar with the area but this was our first time camping there. We had reserved a 30 amp site on the creek. I had a little trouble getting power due to a...

We stayed in the Magnolia. It was filthy. Floors nasty, blanket grossed me out. Walls and ceilings had cobwebs. Bathroom with old toothpaste on the walls. Ants were a constant issue. Front porch was beyond filthy. This place needs a serious deep cleaning. Campers from Canada said as they have traveled this was the dirtiest place they have stayed as...

We have only camped at Deep Creek for 2 years but it will become a fixture in our future vacation plans! The river/creek is gorgeous & the sound of the water over the rocks will make u sleep like an innocent child!! We rent tubes & float them down the river every day, rain or sunshine. It's about 10 degrees...

Came here with family as an end of summer camping trip and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The campground and bathrooms were super clean, it was in an excellent location and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

River flooded entire campground! Woke up by neighbor screaming to get up! Rushed to get kids to safety! Police arrived to help! Campground owners no where in site to warn or help in any way! Everything was muddy and ruined! Had no where to go that night so had to go back home. Called the next day to get our...

“The mountain view RV sites and creek side tent sites are great. The RV creek sites are pretty, but the RV sites have big boulders along the creek, and it is a bit deep, so might not be the best for small kids.”
