Needed a place to stay for a night after moving in college daughter. So happy to have found this little gem! Owners were great and were very understanding and accommodating upon my late arrival. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. I will be back!

Sister Lou stayed at the motel. She said it was four nights of the quietest and most cozy sleep with comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed stay so much will be going back for more. Motel had plenty of storage a refrigerator and microwave. She wanted to give it 5 stars.

And we got just what we needed at a reasonable cost. Super nice family ran. Clean as anyone could ask for. 40 min drive into Wilmington. If you have done enough homework to be considering this option for a say near Wilmington, you are finished. This is a smart move.

In the area playing the game of Geocaching with some friends nearby. We had planned to stay one night. But for the price the quality of the hotel experience we drove 40 miles back to stay another night. Reservations were easy, everything about the room was clean. Well worth it if you are in the area to forgo Wilmington especially...

Great little find - clean, friendly family run motel. A lot of parking available in the front. Not far from Wilmington, 30mins drive, where prices are much higher. Beds are comfortable. Room size is very good, and have seating area near window with table and chairs. Water pressure was good, not always the case in many motels. There was wi-fi...

The big chain wanted to charge for a whole night to do an early check in. After being on the road for 15 hours we were ex- hausted and the wonderful owners...

We stayed at Burgaw Motel this weekend and found the bed to be very comfortable and the room was clean. It is not a modern motel but the hospitality was outstanding. My husband left his cell phone and the staff contacted us immediately to come back and get phone. The rooms are very quiet and we enjoyed our stay.

My husband is a farmer and I am a teacher. It is very difficult for us to get away in the summer, but wanted to take a close overnighter before I started back to school. We had thought about Wilmington, but the hotels were either all booked up or too expensive. This is how I stumbled across "Burgaw Motel". At...

My daughter and I recently stayed here as we had to be in Burgaw early the next morning for a business meeting. The property is small and locally owned, which can be a good or bad thing. In this case, it was a good one. The owner checked us in and gave us a choice of rooms. The room was...

Recently I wanted to visit my daughter in Wilmington, I'm a light sleeper, and there's a new baby so hubby and I chose to stay in a hotel rather than the spare bed at her house. I spent several hours trying to find hotel accommodations in Wilmington and the surrounding areas of Wrightsville Beach and Leland. EVERYTHING was either booked...

“This is a small place, there are maybe 24 or 26 rooms tops, most are on ground level. We stayed on the ground level with rooms over top- never heard a thing from upstairs even though they were booked. This is a quiet place- and be sure to check out the local sites!”
