Well.... I was very disappointed in the accommodations this weekend, and that's being nice. $135 per night, that included a complimentary continental breakfast. The room had a funky smell when we first arrived pon Thursday evening. We soon covered the stinch with funky soccer cleats 🙂. When the A/C turned on, it sounded like a train rumbling through the room....

I normally do not give a hotel 5 Stars - Housekeeping is usually the reason. Not the case at this Holiday Inn! Housekeeping is excellent. Target is within walking distance from the hotel and very close to restaurants and shopping. I felt the area around the hotel was very safe - I actually ran on the sidewalk near the hotel...

Very nice hotel, beautifully appointed rooms, super clean, free wi fi, and breakfast included, although is not that super great still part of the good value price so I'll take it. A good option if you don't want to spend ridiculous amount of money staying downtown Raleigh which is not such an extraordinary "city" to begin with, hotel rates are...

I stayed at this hotel during October 2016 for 5 nights. The rooms are worn, the bed was uncomfortable, but the lobby area is updated. The breakfast buffet is $11 and offers a fair selection of hot and cold breakfast food. The staff were friendly and room service was completed daily. The fitness center is very limited and very small....

Room was pretty bad, tub barely drained, carpet was dirty and spotted, bed smelled like they sprayed a whole bottle of scented cleaner on it, wall paper was spotted and ripped. Breakfast was below average but the worst part was looking across the restaurant to the lobby which was fifthly, trash under the furniture looked like a college apartment, cups,...

I stayed this past Saturday during Hurricane Matthew. The power was out when I checked in around 3pm and had been out since 10am or 11am. I was given the option to “either stay or check out” because of the power and I’ve stayed at hotels before where they have offered other properties in the area if there was something...

I live down the street and had to stay here because of power outages due to hurricane Matthew. The staff was wonderful and the service and amenities were great. We travel a lot but really got the warm Southern hospitality experience here. The crew went beyond the call of duty. Dana at the desk - a veritable tour guide for visitors. Charming and sincere. Same with Pam! Gregg at the bar was fun, had lots of information about the area and recommended a great wine. The breakfast crew was...

The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Overall, it is a fairly nice building and seems reasonably well maintained. I noticed a little wear and tear around the edges, but nothing that impacted the quality of our stay. The location is decent. It is close to the highway, without being on the highway. I didn't find anything I wanted in...
