This place was very nice. Quiet, cozy, comfortable and clean. Parking right outside the room. The rooms feel and look like you're in a log cabin. 24 hour access to ice, coffee, etc. Refrigerator and coffee maker in room. Excellent TV reception with dozens of channels (all free). Landline telephone in room. I had a good cell phone signal but...

Went here for a weekend away from home and really enjoyed. Very well located in the center of Cashiers although the town is very small. Ate close by at Winslow's Hideaway which was good but spent most of the time in Highlands. Would definitely stay here again. It is not fancy but it is very comfortable. Wish they had breakfast...

This is the 3rd year we have stayed at Laurelwood... We have always been very pleased... We stay in one of the deluxe rooms and couldn't ask for anything better... That young couple really work hard to keep improving the place.... We definitely recommend it --and we WILL be back.

Our first time visiting Cashiers and didn't know much about the area or places to stay. A friend recommended Laurelwood so we decided to give it a try. When I say the place is clean, that is an understatement. From the grounds to the rooms, everything was extremely clean and neat. The staff was very friendly and helped us out...

Management went out of their way to accommodate. Clean, quaint. All rooms well appointed with cabin decor. Our party had three adjoining rooms and no one complained about the continuous laughter. Booking again for next year.

Can't say enough nice things about the management. They went out of their way to make this a great experience. We rented 3 suites for 6 couples. Suites are compact but have everything you could need. Adorable rustic decor. 2 rooms with private baths. Rooms include kitchenette and small seating area. We were able to sit outside on the porch...

This was our first time to the Western side of North Carolina and our expectations were high. My husband found this establishment based on a Groupon (first time users) and our plan was to just try it out this way and if we liked it, make it a place to stay on future trips. When pulling into the place, you...

My husband and I stayed at Laurelwood for our Christmas vacation this year. It was the perfect mountain inn; exactly what we were expecting and hoping for! It was all decorated with Christmas lights and decor and was tucked away in the woods with a very private feel. It was gorgeous and the perfect place to stay while we did...

The Laurelwood Inn is a beautiful mountain retreat in the heart of Cashiers (literally at the town crossroads). As you pull into the drive you are struck by the camp/cabin feel, right away. Two pretty little gazebos sit in the yar, there are a few trickling man made water elements and everything just looks friendly and inviting. We were greeted...

We were in the area to visit friends and visit some flower gardens and parks in the area. It was our first time at Laurelwood Inn. I wished we could have stayed longer. Very peaceful, quiet, restful. Our room was small - two beds, one small bath, but perfectly fine for 2 persons. This is not luxury, but more cabin...
