I was here with a friend for a 2 day conference at UNC. Located close to UNC ($5-6 Uber ride) and hotel decor was great! Lobby/ Front desk and parking attendants very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great to have hot food option- much appreciated! Room was nice- odd set up but I like the thinking out of the box....

This hotel had one of the most attentive front desks I've experienced. The location was great with plenty of parking, and the rooms were modern and quiet. While I generally prefer the bathroom to be completely separate from the sleeping quarters, the set up in the Aloft works very well with the space.

This is a very hip looking, minimalist hotel. It lacks most upscale amenities, but the reasonable cost and great location made it a perfect choice for a family emergency. Service at the front desk and valet parking was top notch, however the cleaning was spotty/poor. One day, at 5PM our room still had not been made up. The housekeeper came,...

This hotel did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. It has an eclectic feel in the lobby. My teenage son like the pool table in the lobby. Breakfast was adequate. Our room was clean and the temperature control worked well.

Aloft Chapel Hill exceeded my expectations. The hotel was lovely and the customer service was excellent. Shannon, guest services, went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I will definitely be returning to this hotel. Great property and location, walking distance to great places to eat as well as coffee shops. The food served at the hotel was also very...

I picked the Aloft hotel because of its proximity to Regus where I had a business meeting. Not my usual taste in a hotel but very interesting. I normally prefer thick carpets and cozy chairs. Not at the Aloft. The floors in the lobby are concrete. The bar is nice and bright with a fireplace in the area for sitting....

My family stayed here over New Year's while we were in town visiting family. The room was clean and the hotel amenities were nice - small market and indoor pool. Parking and breakfast aren't included, however. We were also VERY annoyed to discover the hotel was having a VERY loud party that kept up us 'til 3AM. A party disclosure...

I have stayed in Aloft hotels in a couple of other cities and this hotel is pretty typical of the brand. I find Aloft to be middle of the road-clean and tries to have a modern feel, but nothing really stands out to me about the experience or the rooms. Stayed here because of the hotel's proximity to nearby activities....

Stayed at Aloft after UNC night game. Very convenient location. Staff welcoming with late check in. Bar offered a night cap after the game, a nice treat. Valet parking was very welcome on a cold evening.

This hotel is a cross between a motel 6 and a minimum security prison. Drab, cheap room. Foam mattress dented from previous guests. Skimpy towels. Burned out light in bathroom when we arrived. Took a long time to get another room (didn't have the right light bulb to replace the burned out one!). If you stay here over a Saturday...
