Excellent service, clean, and friendly and helpful staff. Aesthetically well-appointed. This hotel is a gem. Not only would I stay there again, I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

This was more than I wanted to spend for a hotel (especially without a complementary breakfast), but I wanted the convenience of walking to UNC's campus and area restaurants. The staff was friendly and I liked the water bottles in the room (which was so nice). The AC system was tops and with the fan running it provided perfect white...

Hello BakerMom, Thanks for sharing your experience at The Franklin. We are happy that you found our location valuable. The A/C has been very important these last few weeks with the extreme heat - glad it could serve double duty as a white noise function. The Keurig's have been a big hit, and thanks for your feedback about the tea...

Stayed here for a weekend while son attended basketball camp. Room was as expected (we had a view of the parking lot but booked the least expensive room). Service was superb! Allowed us to have a late check out on Sunday. Beds very comfortable, choice of pillows, complimentary bottled water and cookies were a nice touch. Very convenient to all...

This was my first stay at The Franklin. It's in a great location in Chapel Hill on historic Franklin Street. There are endless things to do within a few blocks in both directions up and down the street. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. So was the valet staff. The food was good, the room was big...

This hotel made us feel so at home. We loved the shuttle service. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The room was wonderful and the bed was super comfy! They offered cold water and cookies in the lobby and fresh coffee muffins and fruit in the morning. We would definitely stay again.

My husband and I love coming to the Franklin for our "weekend getaways". You can walk to restaurants/shopping in Chapel Hill and Carrboro and don't need to get back in your car once you park it. The rooms are spacious and comfy with a nice big balcony as an added bonus. We always go home relaxed and rejuvenated after staying...

Switched to this hotel, midday through stay and could not be happier. Was travelling on business to UNC and will definitely stay here again. Rooms are pure comfort, staff is fantastic, and the location can't be beaten. Wifi is lightning fast and doesn't have any of those annoying log-in screens.

This is a gorgeous hotel. Great staff, comfortable beds and linens. I highly recommend a room with a balcony. We enjoyed all the activities on Franklin Street. Stayed here to take kids on college tours UNC and Duke. Chapel Hill is a beautiful historic town and this hotel is the place to stay.
