I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. I dropped my child off to college :-) The ENTIRE hotel staff (from the front end person down to the cleaners) were friendly, polite and informative. The only bad thing about my stay was that the sheets were "rough dry" (not ironed) and the pillows were so cheap that you needed 4...

I brought my aunt to UNC hospital for cancer treatment for the past month and a half and now i just want to say that the rooms are much cleaner, customer service has literally imporoved overnight;the employess all look professional. Usually I can roll with the punches if we are traveling cross country and I need only a midnight accommodation. Got in late at Chapel Hill and we stayed here. And stay somewhere else. Bathroom was filthy with trash on the floor and crap on the toilet seat. There was hair in the sink and the carpet had not been vacumed. We got to the hotel tonight and there were 3charter buses taking up at least 25 to 30 parking spaces along with work trailers and dumpsters taking up more....

We wanted an inexpensive place for one night when passing through. This place was clean and basic. No surprises. I would stay here again, because of the price. Nothing to write home about, just your average hotel room.

MUCH better than I expected for the price. The rooms have been remodeled, there is a nice courtyard with picnic tables, having a fridge and microwave in the room was a huge plus. Downside: the double beds were very small...really not for two people. My bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly...there was a used towel hanging on the door and the tub...

Graduation weekend at UNC and Duke propelled the Quality Inn's prices to $200 per night. Although it's not a $200 a night hotel, the QI was fine, and better than expected after reading some 2013 TA reviews of its slippage following its buyout of the Hampton Inn.
