Our family was in town for the Thanksgiving Day parade. We had a great visit and got to watch our son march with the Lenoir Rhyne University Marching Band. Our accommodations were great. We selected the Holiday Inn because it was just off the parade route. We found several local restaurants within walking distance and the hotel offers onsite parking... More

The location of this hotel is great, especially for travelers visiting for sporting and entertainment venues. It has the potential of being a great hotel but it clearly is not kept up well by the employees. The biggest criticism for us is that our room was musty, very musty. Also, a couple doors down a food tray was left sitting... More

The rooms are a little dated and my shower was cold , which I had hoped would warm up but unfortunately it didn't . The staff was very helpful and helped me with locating a great restaurant and a quick way to our concert. Their staff almost made up for the cold shower...nope!

This season my wife and I became season ticket holders for the Charlotte Hornets. We live 4.5 hours away and will need a hotel for every game we go see. We got the IHG credit card that came with loads of hotel points and we started using the credit card for everyday expenses to get more points. So far we... More

I stayed there 4 days to attend an exibition (Convention Center). Logistically speaking is really fine. In 10 minutes walk you get everywehre in downtown. Really in the middle of the restaurants and pubs areas. 15/20 min by cab to get at the airport and the main shopping malls (south partk, premium outlets). As to the hotel, the room was... More

Stayed for work at the Holiday Inn for 4 days and night. Staff were excellent, helpful, friendly and JJ especially went out of his way to make us feel at home. He's the man. Seriously, ask for him. Restaurant was overrated and quite expensive. Hotel itself? Stellar.

This hotel is right in the heart of Charlotte and within walking distance to many uptown locations. Check ins was quick and friendly. Rooms were clean and quiet. The on-site restaurant is nice for a drink or snack, but the buffet breakfast is overpriced. Would stay again.

This hotel was near the things we wanted to see and do and was not expensive. Our rooms were clean, wifi was good, and no issues with street noise. Although no breakfast was included with the rooms there are plenty of places nearby to eat cheaply if needed. We would stay here again.

I stayed here for a work trip. The location is perfect. It's right in the middle of town, walking distance to everywhere. There was lots of urine splash on the wall near the toilet and I could hear the conversation the woman was having with her husband on her cell phone in the room next door. The staff was incredibly... We stayed here for an event at the Spectre Center. It is within walking distance. The hotel is very nice and clean. All staff was friendly. They helped us figure out where to go. They also told us what areas to avoid. Overall great experience.
