We stayed here on the last two nights of our two week vacation in the US ( couple travelling from Dallas, Texas to Charlotte, North Carolina). We ultimately picked the hotel due to its proximity to the airport- location for us was perfect between the city and airport but we had a car so this is something to consider if you dont have your own vehicle it may not be a convenient location. Upon checking in we met the most friendly front of house staff (Anthony moore) he had our reservation ready immediately after arriving despite us only booking within an hour of arriving there. He could not do enough for us, was on hand for advice and overall very very helpful and friendly. We could not fault the room it was big and comfortable amd very reasonably priced. Would recommend staying here, particularly if you are travelling as airport is within a few miles. Free parking at the hotel. We didn't use any of the facilities (gym etc) but were impressed with the facilities on offer. A special thanks so Mr. Moore on reception x

Ended here due to a last minute flight cancellation. Shuttle was about a half hour to come pick us up, which wasn't terrible. The room was cozy and clean, and Darryl at the front desk made is feel at ease. Slept very soundly through the evening. Pool was closed due to covid, but we understood. We asked a gentleman at the front desk the next morning if they would leave our bags behind the desk,(who sadly we did not catch his name but he was a sweet man with a neat accent) so we could check out some local food (Chubs dogs and burgers, it was AMAZING and the owner was super friendly). We walked back to grab our bags and boarded the shuttle with Robertson, our driver, who is a GEM, made our day talking about his kids and the weird weather in the area, the man deserves a raise! He made us smile and feel warm before heading to TSA at the Charlotte airport. Thank you to ALL at Radisson. You made some midwesterners feel at home and in love❤

Almost every flight on American airline was cancelled due to weather. I booked the hotel and called before I got there. I spoke with Ebony the only person working there and she was as calm and cool as can be. When we finally got there she had at least 20 people waiting for a room and people were mad as if it were her fault that their flights got canceled. She did an amazing job given the circumstances. The room was clean and we were able to get a good nights rest before braving the CLT airport again and trying to get home.

I booked this hotel based on the 24 hour shuttle option for a flight landing at 10:44pm. After midnight and 3 calls to the hotel, still no shuttle and inaccurate information about him being on the way. I consider it false advertising to say you're an airport hotel only 10 minutes away, come stay with us, then refuse to schedule a pick up ahead, saying just call and the driver will come right over in 10 min. when the reality is he is the shuttle driver for 3 hotels and you aren't necessarily going to see him in even an hour. No real communication between the hotel and the shuttle which is also terrible. I had to pay $33.50 for a taxi here. I've stayed at tons of airport hotels with shuttles and this one isn't managed correctly. No manager on duty. Driver for the morning shuttle was timely but drove very recklessly tailgating, weaving in and out, speeding way up just to slam in his breaks. Drove like someone was dying. Even in the tsa line people commented to me about being scared for me up in the front for that ride and how bad the driver and the shuttle itself were. Room was very good for the lower price tho.

I booked this hotel when it said it had breakfast and a resturant. When we got there both were closed for renovation. Noone notified us before hand it changed. The reservation says 47 inch tv it was more like 27. The housekeeping was horrible, only checked our room once in 5 days without a request, and EVERY time we came through an elevator housekeeping was blocking elevator doors with their cart. My other issue is I paid alot of money for a hotel with no resturant, or breakfast, it should of had a microwave.

No way this room was worth the almost $200 I paid. Don’t get me wrong, it’s updated, but not maintained well. The room was the room I purchased, however upon walking in the room had the smell of a litter box, walls all scuffed, and MOLD. Extremely disappointed for the cost. The location is awful. The amount of homeless camps in the adjoined parking lot to the hotel with people hanging around and walking around is also pretty unsettling. Upon checkout there was nobody at the front to check me out, give me a printed price sheet, just a bowl that says “Leave room key here”. I could’ve paid less to stay better. Not sure where all the 5 star, “excellent cleanliness” reviews are coming from honestly.

This hotel is in a a building with a Ramada and a Clarion hotels under the same management. In my opinion all three franchises should be pulled. The service is indifferent at best and borderline contemptuous. They have a single shuttle for all three properties and, even though I told the driver twice we were at the Radisson, he dropped us at the Ramada, the easiest for him. As he unladed our bags, I pointed out the other entrance two hundred feet away and he simply said “Sorry about that” and walked away. So we hiked to the correct hotel and checked in. We needed to get back to the airport the next morning, but the reception person told us all shuttles were full but one three hours before the flight, meaning we would lose an hour’s sleep to wait at the airport. The pool was "closed for the season"?!? We went to the only restaurant shared by the three properties, two hours plus before closing and there were no customers there. The bar was cluttered with dishes long left by previous customers and the lone server was sitting behind the bar eating takeout from elsewhere (red flag!). She reluctantly and slowly cleared the debris from two seats at the bar and took our order. The only other person there was he child (about 10 years old) loudly playing video games at the end of the bar. When we asked for anything, refills on the drinks, even salt and pepper, the server acted as if we were a colossal annoyance and distraction from her sitting and relaxing. Of course, the food was mediocre. As I said, only restaurant; otherwise, we would have left at first sight. We went to our room, which was pretty nice, and got up for that too early shuttle in the morning. We were greeted in the lobby by the nicest most hospitable lady who told us that none of the shuttles were near full. The evening person was either a bully or incompetent. The agent told us we could go back to the room and knap if we wanted but we decided we were awake, so she offered us coffee and to change the channel on the TV if we wanted. That lady earned the second star in this review and should be put in charge of training. In the meantime, stay away from these abusive hotels.

I expect for hotels to explain upon check-in basic things like why there's no water in the room & where to obtain water. The shuttle driver was also late, though it would've been so easy to notify us about the accident & expected arrival time. The person at the desk never answered the phone when I called to ask about water as well as the TV which didn't work in the first room. So each time I needed assistance I had to either walk downstairs or figure it out on my own despite the receptionist literally sitting there. Other than that, the room was pretty good. Was rather quiet & bed was comfortable.

A nightmare. Old facility, double charged for the room, stained ceiling tiles with some missing in the hallway plus a bucket underneath catching water drips. No Sunday breakfast (never told) due to staffing shortage. Will never stay in another Radisson.

I booked and paid for rooms for my elderly father, brother & sister as my dad had a medical procedure scheduled early on 15 September. Both initial rooms were unsatisfactory as the TV did not work in one, the AC in the other. Then, the following morning, neither room had ANY hot water!!! When my sister asked about the rooms being discounted she was basically told no, that they have no maintenance person, so tough luck. Lack of customer service amazing. It was clean, and a short drive to the medical center. Other than that, not much good to say about it.

You can park your car there and I personally did not have any issues, however, I would never go back there again as the area looks sketchy. There is a lot "happening" near that hotel that would make me not want to be there, on top of having a car that might be tempting to someone to break in it.
You get the phone number from the hotel, call and they will come and pick you up and give you instructions where to walk from the luggage pick up out the doors. I do remember that the "Radisson Name" on the van was small and we didn't see it at first. There are a lot of vans from various hotels picking up. The driver usually gets out and yells the hotel.
There are more places to choose from in the Charlotte area.
