I was given a voucher to stay here when my flights were changed. I was tired, travel-worn, etc. I was given wonderful service by the shuttle driver Ansel, and a lovely welcome by Lisa, the hotel manager at 1am! They made sure I was comfortable, hydrated, helped me get to an ATM and made sure I was up (4 hours later) to shuttle back to the airport!
The rooms are very updated and clean.I felt like I was at a spa. It was such a nice surprise after traveling all day to walk in this room. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have amenities like a pool and fitness center but since it was late at night when we arrived It was especially great to have a cafe on site.
No way this room was worth the almost $200 I paid. Don’t get me wrong, it’s updated, but not maintained well. The room was the room I purchased, however upon walking in the room had the smell of a litter box, walls all scuffed, and MOLD. Extremely disappointed for the cost. The location is awful. The amount of homeless camps in the adjoined parking lot to the hotel with people hanging around and walking around is also pretty unsettling. Upon checkout there was nobody at the front to check me out, give me a printed price sheet, just a bowl that says “Leave room key here”. I could’ve paid less to stay better. Not sure where all the 5 star, “excellent cleanliness” reviews are coming from honestly.
The room was OK, but it didn't seem as clean as it should be (as you can read from some of the other reviews here). It is disappointing that a hotel next to an airport doesn't have 24/7 check-in and an airport shuttle running after 11 pm. Although I can't fault them for this since it is listed on their website. However, I believe this should be offered since many travelers like me will arrive late. What is the problem at the hotel is the staff. The staff is just very grumpy, and it feels like an inconvenience to approach the front desk to check in or check out. I requested an airport shuttle to leave at 10 am the next morning, but the shuttle driver did not show up. I waited by the front desk for 20 minutes but no one was there, and I had to eventually find someone who was working in a back room. That person was just hanging out with their colleagues and seemed annoyed that I came to find them. Then they told me that I would need to wait for the next shuttle. I responded that I already requested for the shuttle time and was told I could have that! He finally called a driver who said they were 15 minutes away. I almost missed my flight because of all of this!…
Why do you idiots keep texting me to give a review how many reviews do you need from me to let you know how horrible your establishment is?? Roaches roaches roaches roaches roaches roaches roaches roaches no food no power no electricity no air conditioning 90° weather when we came in is that your 200 words is that sufficient for you now?
As a Front Desk Manager at a Radisson hotel in Mexico, I would love to thank you for the excellent service given to my boyfriend! I made a reservation with my RR points in a room with 2 queen beds, however he was offered a free upgrade to a room with a king size bed! Transportation was more than convenient and the staff took wonderful care of him! It was very important to me that he have a quiet stay, since he had been through many hours of travel and was in Charlotte on a layover of several hours. I deeply appreciate everything you did for him! Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
The hot stay was not too bad even though I would not stay there again nor recommend it to anyway. The location being near the airport was good but the area is filled with too many vagrants. They also had two incidents at both of the nearby gas stations while I was there.
No shuttle, cockroach in room, room not as clean as I'd like. Physical room was modern and looked good. Clever sliding door worked both as closet door and bathroom door, a smart space-saver. Check-in and -out easy.
I was told that a 4am airport shuttle was available. 24/7 I was told, just have to ask when getting one last-night as they don't run on a regular schedule at late hours. Turns out they had no night-time driver, and the night staff said that kept happening. I wouldn't have chosen Radisson if there weren't a shuttle both ways, (from and to airport). Everything else about the Radisson was just fine thanks.
Horrible. One of the worst hotels we’ve stayed in. Staff were always on their phone, talking to friends or smoke breaks. Never had fresh coffee made. Coffee pot did not work in room. Wifi intermittent. Staff members showed no interest in helping visitors and honestly seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing. Filthy room.
