In Queen City for game. Hotel was Clean, well appointed, great staff. You can’t beat the location! The hotel is in a nice area, next door to the Spectrum Center, close to upscale restaurants and activities, and uptown sites are walkable.
Excellent service and friendly folks at the Hyatt House. Rooms had a full size refrigerator and stove. Nice bed. Great location. Nice food and drink options. It is well worth the stay if you are coming into Charlotte. Close enough to walk to many restaurants and bars.
On late notice, got a reservation for a concert next door. Location to the Spectrum Center is perfect. Will be even nicer when the diner across the street opens. The only weakness is lack of dining options nearby.
Great place to stay. Highly recommend. Very convenient to Spectrum Center. Clean room. Friendly staff. Valet parking. Quiet atmosphere. Email notification allowed check in prior to arrival. No waiting for room to be cleaned.
I had a great time, and the employees were very friendly. The breakfast times were amazing, as well as the food itself. The valet parking was fantastic. No bumps or bruises on the car, and really quick removal from the parking lot.
Hyatt staff will SCOLD you at the front desk and try to make you feel bad for "improperly" booking the reservation. My company booked my stay, I have been using a preferred name since I was seven, thus my company only knows me by this name and booked the reservation in this name. I was scolded at the front desk for not using my legal name and had to snap back at the staff for their outdated policy. Thank the Gods I'm not trans! If you are trans, STAY FAR AWAY from this brand! They will take your ID, change the name on your reservation, and force you to out yourself to the entire lobby. I travel often for work and charity events, having been racing and completing charity rallies for four years, this was my first experience with a hotel that had an issue with my use of a preferred name. Outdated policy that needs changed. The only highlight of the trip was the EXCELLENT Valet staff that took great car with my Audi TT. They were responsive, friendly, and responsible (making sure to always lock up the key cabinet even when standing behind it.) I would love to hire the Valet company for charity events if I could (that's how fantastic they are)!…
Great location, we chose this hotel because it was within walking distance to Spectrum Stadium. The rooms were clean, front desk staff were accommodating, your valet staff were very helpful but they need help, Hyatt needs a better system and need to hire more valet staff.
Room was very clean and customer service was outstanding. As someone who was stranded in Charlotte on Christmas eve due to my connecting flight being cancelled I did not regret my experience on booking with this location. Staff members welcomed me and were helpful to my needs.
Hotel is perfect location for attending anything at the Spectrum Center. About 550 ft between. This is great if the weather is rainy or cold or you want to arrive to an event last minute. Parking at the resort is valet only. Valet workers were very polite. Negative is their hours of operation. Only 1 attendant on duty until 9am. This left a long line for people leaving on a Thursday morning. Hotel check-in was done in person since the Hyatt app wouldn't work. We were given a 17th floor room over looking the pool. Room had 2 queens and a walk in shower, small microwave, small fridge. Everything was clean accept the shower. It was filthy. I told the front desk and another room was given to us on the 11th floor. Wa told it was the only room available. It was a handicap accessible room for individuals with hearing impairment. CONS- Bathroom only had 2 sets of towels, only 1 known ice machine (12th floor), no vending machines (snacks you could purchase in a hidden tiny room behind check in desk, not sure what was in there because I was questioned by an employee when I went to look). Heard cleaning attendants working on floor at 8:30. Booked 10 months in advance to get best price. I feel I paid for the location. Did not use the bar area or the pool. Price could have been better for Hyatt members.…
No free parking, the valet parking was rude and with bad attitude. My car was never on time or they couldn’t find the key so the service was horrible. The rooms were average considering the hotel being next to a place under construction so a lot of noise throughout the day.
