I was in town on business for four nights and had the pleasure of staying at this delightful hotel. The staff was wildly accommodating, remembered me, and was quick with a smile and a hello! The breakfast was great and the place was clean. I was wildly surprised at how quiet my stay was! There were even a few rugby teams staying and the nights were still restful. (And yes, I was on the same floor.). The bed was sooo comfortable. The laundry was free to use, and the wifi was too! Would definitely stay here again.

I had to have major hand surgery in Charlotte. We're from way out of town, and we wanted as homelike a place to stay as possible. We had a bedroom and living room and a full kitchen. There were 2 desks and a big table, so my husband could easily work remotely, with the help of the business center. We had visitors, and there were comfortable chairs and a sofa for them, plus the table served as a great kitchen table when they brought us food. The hotel breakfasts were ample and excellent, and my husband had no problem bringing me food until I could get there on my own. The cleaning staff were so kind and helpful, as were all the people at the breakfast area and at the desk. We really felt at home.

I know why I love Staybridge hotels, it's the staff that greets you. Rebecca was so friendly, and made you feel like you're right at home. I stayed here on Oct. 23, 2022 in room 222.
The room was clean, clean refrigerator, counter, and of course dishes all ready to use, if you need them.
With the exception of the remote having a low battery, and the house phone had no dial tone to call Rebecca, when I went downstairs she saw me coming with the remote, and grabbed one to hand me. We laughed and I just thought her personality was great, kind, and apologetic, and just a very nice lady.
When I checked out the young lady at the desk informed me the elevator wasn't working. However, she would help me bring down my suitcase if it wasn't fixed within 30 minutes. I was in my room, and heard a knock on my door, she advised me the elevator was now working. I thought that was so nice she came upstairs to let me know. It was actually fixed within 15 minutes. Even though all the little tiny things happened, I would stay here in a heartbeat.
Now, onto breakfast! WOW!! They had these omelettes that were AMAZING! They had fruit, and a yogurt bar, cereal, pancakes, I mean it was a wonderful breakfast for anyone's appetite.
Only thing missing was French Vanilla creamer for my coffee. Other than that it was wonderful stay.
Whomever owns this hotel, I do hope you give Rebecca, and the morning lady some kudo's for doing a wonderful job and providing OUTSTANDING service to your patrons. It is because of these ladies we will be returning.

Upon my late check in, my room was filthy! The toilet seat was covered in urine and hair. Both shower/tub floors were covered in hair and dust and the bath room floor had toilet paper pieces and hair. The sink still had toothpaste chunks and the beds (all 3) while made clearly did not have new sheets and evidence by the hair and thousands wrinkles from someone sleeping in this bed. The kitchen floor was full of crumbs (big pieces of crackers or chips)- Shocked they don't have mice! When I complained to the front desk they were surprised and sent the janitor to review- and his response was "I will send someone in the morning to clean". .I called back to the desk and asked for a room change and they had no other room available. I was not able to find another hotel room any where else and it was 11PM and I had to stay in this room- Disguisting. Then they had the audacity to charge me $250 for the room and I noted others said that they had paid under $150 for this very same room. They offered nothing for the inconvenience!

Stayed at Staybridge Suites during BMX World Champs. Booked the last room which was a studio which was a mistake as we should have booked a one or two bedroom suite but didn’t think the sofa bed was going to be so bad! Upon arrival had to ask for the bed linen for the sofa bed as it wasn’t provided even though they knew it was a booking for three. The managers reception was a pleasant surprise as we literally checked in had a quick bite to eat a beer and a wine and went to bed! We had a pleasant stay overall, room was clean and amenities good, loved the big fridge and ice machine! Loved the access to the free laundry. Main issue I had was plastic cutlery!!! Absolutely abysmal to be expected to eat breakfast with plastic cutlery!!! The juice machine was always water - nobody checked it to ensure it was replenished and the bins were often overflowing as it was self clear. The only other issue was housekeeping - I didn’t expect during a stay of 10 days to only have the room cleaned twice! The room stated it had an every day light touch housekeeping service and a full clean once per week - however this was not the case. Overall it served a purpose and was pleasant but could be improved on so many levels.

We’ve been staying here every year for over 10 years, so we know this location well. Being in Ballantyne is a big plus, and overall, the facilities are kept up.
But we have noticed the quality of the staff has declined considerably since covid, I’m assuming to save on costs. Examples include, big dirty white stain on the carpet that looks like vomit, but I’m hoping is yogurt, only a few paper towels in our room which meant going to the front desk to get more, and no sheets on the pullout bed or extras in the room.
So, I tried to call the front desk to get sheets (when I was ready to go to bed), and neither of the two phones in the room actually worked (why have them), so I called with my cell and the front desk worker said he would need to come again to the front desk (in my PJs already) because he doesn’t have anyone to help him. And when my wife went to the front desk, he said they didn’t have any fitted sheets.
Then, while the staff is friendly enough, they seem to be more reactive instead of proactive which was always a plus to this location previously.
So, the setting is nice, and the hotel is ok, just hate to see it lose the magic that used to exist when they were less corporate and offered warm chocolate chip cookies in the evenings (which my kids miss) and a large Christmas tree in the lobby. Sigh, too bad “measuring what matters” doesn’t include the magic intangibles of a good experience that keeps a customer coming back for more than 10 years. Regrettably, I think that streak has ended.

My fiancé and I just had a stay at the Staybridge in Ballantyne. This is not our first time here, but what a difference a few months can make. We were both disgusted and highly disappointed with how downhill this property has gone. We stayed in room 310- a few things that were wrong... We had some take out and when my fiancé went to look for a fork to use, there weren’t any in the drawers. So he opened the dishwasher and it was full of dishes from the last people who stayed. The counters had not been wiped off very well and there wasn’t any body wash in the dispenser,.. only a completely empty dove soap bottle. The carpet looks like it needs to be cleaned - I wouldn’t walk on it barefooted and finally, the refrigerator.. so gross. It made the whole room smell. It was rotten. I was watching tv on the bed and when he opened it, it stunk up the entire room. It was horrible. I was embarrassed that I selected Staybridge for our night away. It was the quality of some off the highway pop in type place. Not to mention the pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance .. just another let down.
I planned this night away because we needed a stress free night to just relax. I chose this place because it was the first place we had ever been to together, so it had some sentimental feelings involved with the idea of going back. I was so wrong.. I regret the money spent and I don’t see us ever staying there again. Such a let down because this place used to be nice. Now it’s gross and not well kept. This hotel has a very grungy feel to it and we were both so let down with our experience.

Overall, a clean hotel with friendly staff! Thank you and large shout-out to Desmond and CJ for always going out of their way to say hi to me as an extended-stay guest. Their warm hospitality really made me feel welcome and at-home. The hotel also consistently has a complimentary breakfast with both hot food and cold options. Definitely don't have any strong complaints about the hotel, although I wish the gym wasn't missing some of its dumbbells. The free laundry is also a plus.

When we arrived the staff was very curtious and kind. The courtyard was a very relaxing spot to eat lunch or just talk. Our room was newly renovated clean and comfortable. We loved the full kitchen, it came with dishes and everything you need to cook, which was nice since we are not redy to eat in a sit down resturaunt due to covid.

Only 2 towels, 1 washcloth, no bath mat for family of three. Called and had to get a bath mat and extra towel. Found hair in shower and on “clean” towels that wasn’t ours.
No coffee pot to make the complimentary coffee. No popcorn due to “covid”. No plates, cups, dishes in cabinets. Looked in dishwasher and found them, not unloading an entire dishwasher, should have been done before we arrived. Couldn’t find blanket for pull out couch bed. Called front desk 4 times. Hubby had to go to front desk to get one.
No ice tray in freezer. Had to put a pot in there to catch ice.
I’m usually a loyal Marriott customer, gave this place a try because so many friends were staying there on our trip. Definitely will be back at a Marriott next time!
