Jaden was super helpful in helping us to load up from Our room And took all our luggage to our car from us. He was very helpful and very friendly. Great time at the JW Marriott All Of the staff were helpful and friendly.
Stayed here for their opening weekend and it was a great experience. We walked to the panthers game as it is literally 2 blocks away. Valet was great, shout out to Mauricio, who happened to be from Greenville, SC. Roof top bar is very fancy and sophisticated. We definitely loved our stay and we look forward to a future visit. Thanks and good luck!
We got checked in, they took my car and had us checked in and to our room with luggage in under 10 minutes! Jaden was quick, efficient and courteous. Well done, can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you
Danielle and the rest of the valet and costumer service team provided amazing service for our entire trip. They were running to take care of our bags and would have our rental car waiting for us everyday.
Great location to everything in Uptown. Great restaurants in the hotel! (Deans & Carolines). The hotel staff was friendly. The only critique I have are that the bed sheets need to be checked. My coworker found hair in her sheets and I had a stain. The hotel staff quickly changed the sheets and accommodated me for the inconvenience.
Nice property and helpful staff. Bell men & valet timely. First time visiting this JW Marriott. Also appreciate the Executive lounge. Fitness is new and clean with a variety of equipment. Nice on site restaurants.
I just stayed for 7 days, so was able to experience the property well. Pro's- -New property. -The executive lounge is a great place to hang out with associates or get work done. Usually, empty all day and not too bad at night. -Located across the street from the convention center. Con's and review. I received a welcome email a few days prior, asking for my arrival information and requests. Never did get a response. The valet was nice, but the doors were too small to use luggage carts easily. Felt like an idiot. Check-in was uneventful. I had a second room arriving midweek, and I found out that not only with that one but other colleagues, they walked everyone to the elevators and explained the property. Never did this with me. Oh well. The room was new, nice, and clean, Room 1606. You can hear street noise, so be cognizant of that. Turned on the TV, and it had another guest's name on the welcome screen, and also I could not utilize the streaming QR code. I first called down to ask, and the lady who then had a chuckle when I explained the issue...really??, I wasn't so much concerned about the previous guest's name but I wanted to make sure all was okay with the account tied to the room, and also to get the QR fixed so we could stream. No response that night. Over the next few days, I visited the desk several times and did the chat feature to inquire about the problem. Each time was told a different thing, with a promise that if it couldn't be fixed, they would move rooms. After a few days, moving rooms wasn't an option for us at that point. Overall I had made contact with employees seven times over the stay and was promised different things each time or told of different issues causing it. Never fixed the problem, followed up, or offered to make things right. That is not what I expect from a JW Marriott. This is a management and training issue. Watch; they will respond to this with all sorts of apologies, and next time will be better. The next issue, daily housekeeping, was anything but. We had room service on night one; well, they couldn't even wipe off the table with some pizza crumbs. The toilet was dirty for the next three days. The shower never was wiped down. I could only see a quick restock of towels and making the bed with existing sheets. Again, I would expect true 5-star JW Marriott service here. This daily housekeeping was worse than a Low-end property. One night, the phones were down, so, so way to order room service. Dean's is an onsite restaurant but is booked every night. No biggie, but what got me, I inquired about reversing a table for a larger party of 12. I was told it was $9,500. Give me a break; just say you can't accommodate me, don't insult me with that number. Oh well, we didn't get to try Deans. The fitness center is amazing and has top-notch Life Fitness equipment. As previously mentioned, the Executive Lounge is great, but breakfast, although good, was smaller, less than a Fairfield. Nightly snacks were not much, and only offered MON-Thurs. Why would you do this? Make it worth the cost/loyalty for those that access the room. The elevators were fast and efficient. The public restrooms were not as clean as I expected. Checkout was fine, except I noticed a billing issue with adding a Valet charge to the additional room. I did a chat, and they got it refunded later in the day. All in all, this is not what I expect at a JW Marriott or for the price. JW Marriott's usually go out of their way to care for the guests, and I didn't feel that here. Service was lacking. I figure its a management and training issue. I am not a picky person, I just want a clean property and to be treated well. When you stay at a higher-end property, you expect that level of service, but not here, though. …
Trevione was absolutely amazing at assisting us. Trevione was absolutely the best Valet I have ever experienced when traveling! If traveling here be sure to get Trevione you will not be disappointed!
Trey was extremely professional and diligent. He communicated well and we has awesome conversation skills. Trey was helpful with giving me directions to different places. I told him his nickname must be “Siri” because he’s so knowledgeable of everything! Give this man a raise. Perfect guy for the job.
Outstanding service and professionalism, can’t say how blown away I was with the his character and how personable he was and made me really appreciate the experience 5/5. Would recommend every time!!!
