Stayed for three nights last week, room was cleaned every day which was nice. I ordered breakfast twice for room delivery between 9- 9:30 AM, food never came either day. Being on a schedule, this was very inconvenient. The sink barely drained, took a couple of minutes each time I used it. The chain on the toilet broke off, so I had to fix that on my second day there. Bed was ok, pillows were not, and one smelled pretty horrible.
While at this hotel recently , severe muscle spasm came on me. (I have had them before). Thanks to the young lady at the front desk, and even security, who made sure I had a pleasant stay. When you travel as I and my wife do it is easy to feel like you are just a number. Not at all here at the Westin. My wife attended her conference knowing I was safe and secure. Excellent!!!
Great hotel and wonderful service. My first visit to Charlotte and indeed my first visit to the USA. Lovely staff throughout the hotel and Dra in particular was exemplary. Exquisitely polite and could never do enough to help. Many thanks to one and all
As a Travel Agent I do not recommend Westin Charlotte. During my recent stay with them on business without my authorization they debited my credit card for charges other then incidentals. When the Front Desk Associate asked me to swipe my card I was advised that they were for incidentals only and then today I receive a charge for $206.93. Now to correct their wrong I have to jump through hoops just to fix their error. This is unacceptable! Also be advised that they charge you $25 per day for parking so if you check in @ 6pm and then check out at 9am that constitutes 2 days of travel therefore you will pay $50 for parking for your one night stay.
The hotel is fine (could be better for that price), but front desk is super unhelpful... We are supposed to stay here for a week, and specifically booked the high floor with nice view... They said nothing good is available, like really... I got freeway view instead of city, and very low floor... Will never stay in Westin again, I don't like horrible attitude for my money...
Great hotel for my first experience at at Westin!!! I will be back, the staff from the beginning to the end was great!!! That’s all I can say. I’m very pleased. When checking in, it smelled and looked clean and when I called before arriving the rep on the phone did everything I asked for
The valet was amazing ayden was very respectful and professional he is exactly what you need doing this position. When you come to any establishment a smile is what lightens your heart and allows you to know there is joy in the environment!!
I don’t know when MC Escher started designing parking garages, but this hotel’s garage is evidence that he did. I had the worst time both finding my way out of the garage (had to basically walk out the way i drove in) and navigating back in via parking elevator and stairwell with an unreachable door). Dra at valet helped me both locate my car and relocate it to a safer more easily findable spot. Nice hotel, but if you come, skip self park and go valet. Thank me later.
I’m staying at the Westin with my company, this is my 3rd trip this month. Every time I check in, Ranaia & Kiki are incredibly friendly, hospitable and welcoming. They make staying away from home very comfortable & easy. These two employees are excellent ambassadors for Westin & I look forward to my visits because of these two amazing ladies. The hotel is spacious, beautiful and has a ton of amenities ie, restaurants, coffee shop. The rooms are big, updated & gorgeous.
Dra helped me out. He was awesome! His partner Jacob did a great job also! Thanks Jacob and Dre! These two guys are valet attendants and they always opened every door for me and helped me out when I needed it. Thanks fellas!
